OBAMA ,"GETTING NO SLEEP," OVER DEBT CRISIS, GOOD

Reports are circulation that Barack Obama is losing sleep because of the debt crisis and the supposed deadline that is looming for August the second. Well shucks, oh darn, Obama isn't sleeping what a shame! Frankly, I don't believe he has actually lost a minutes sleep over this nightmare and if he has, GOOD, because he created the problem, he exacerbated the problem, he lied about the problem and he has caused it to go down to the wire by refusing to accept anything but his arrogant, "balanced," approach that raises taxes.

So GOOD if he's losing sleep, but I still bet he will attend his million dollar birthday bash and find the time to hit the golf links this weekend. If he is by chance losing sleep it is likely because he will be forced by Constitutional law to pay the debt regardless of whether he gets a debt ceiling raise or not and money he planned to use to expand government will actually have to go to pay interest on the debt rather than blown on some liberal pet project that he and his Dem cronies have been planning.

If he can't spend, spend, spend our money he is sad, sad, sad, and maybe THAT causes him to lose sleep as he tries to figure out another way to deceive the American people and scare them into helping him to further destroy our country. Now I can see him up nights for this since it is what he does best and how he has handled his responsibilities since taking office and planning his massive deceptive campaign takes time and must be done without scrutiny, so a late night planning session causing a sleepless night is possible.

I have also noticed that he expresses NO concern over the fact that Standard and Poors is on the verge of down grading The United States for the first time in our history from a AAA credit rating NOT because any debt ceiling may or may not be raised but because our debt is so massive that if we do not eliminate $4 TRILLION immediately we lose our AAA rating.

He's to interested in raising the debt ceiling and using scare tactics to do so in order to borrow more money to add to the debt than he is about decreasing our debt to keep the AAA rating. So every America is going to have to pay for his arrogance and his spending since he and his agenda have increased our debt by more than $5trillion dollars in that last two years which has placed us at the edge of the credit rating abyss.

He's do interested in getting his greedy socialist paws on new borrowed money to add to the debt so he can spend it as his greedy socialist paws wishes, to make, "investments," his new catch phrase that covers tax increases and additional unwanted and unwarranted spending. So his greed to explode government is going to cause our rating to drop which will raise interest rates, cause havoc in the markets and skyrocket prices since all US goods and finances will no longer be rated an acceptable risk by world financial markets. Every American will pay for his arrogance and stupidity.

So Mr. Obama I hope you lose plenty of sleep as you ponder what you have done to our country and her people. I hope your eyes never close as your feeble brain is filled with guilt over the destruction you have wrought on our great Nation and I hope sleepless nights haunt you until we kick your sorry tail out of office and save our country from you and your arrogant destruction.

DEBT CEILING LIES OF OBAMA BEING REVEALED

There are reports surfacing that all of the scare tactics that have been used by Barack Obama trying to get his arrogant way over the debt ceiling debate have been just what many of us suspected, lies. He has stated that the world will come to an end economically if his, "balanced," approach to raising the debt ceiling is not met.

Yet sources in many circles are leaking that Obama is assuring banks that whether a deal is made or not The United States WILL NOT default on its loans come August 2 as he has been deceitfully stating in interviews, speeches and sound bites for the last two months. As the debate continues it is Obama in fact who is causing the greatest problem as he continually uses the VETO threat when ANY deal is mentioned which doesn't bow to his ridiculous idea of cuts in discretionary spending only combined with tax increases to what he calls the rich, corporate jets class and hedge fund managers.

Additional sources are also revealing that Obama's scare tactic using seniors, Vets, the unemployed and the disabled as leverage against Republicans by claiming checks many depend upon may not be sent out if his debt ceiling plan is not passed, is also another lie he has placed before the public. In fact White House sources have requested that Fox News inform their viewers that everything will be fine and checks will go out as usual.

I have mentioned in a previous post that in accordance to the 14th Amendment it would be a violation of The Constitution and as such the law if the debt were not paid on time. Obama knows this and the political and legal ramifications to him it would cause if he refused to pay the debt which is what would happen if we were to default. It would be the result of a direct Presidential order telling Treasury not to pay it and he personally would be responsible and accountable bringing with it all of the Constitutional procedures for removal from office.

Still Congress is scrambling and Obama is whining over the debt ceiling as if the world will end on August 2. It seems that the lies told over time are still ruling the debate regardless of where the truth lay. Even the rival speeches on Monday night in which Obama outlined his hard core idea along with a pack of lies and Speaker Boehner's response which though truthful in its content of informing the people the real reasons negotiations have failed and Obama is the cause, both still talked of looming disaster if August 2 passed without a deal.

So the debate continues, Obama is still whining and news agencies are sounding as if the world is quickly coming to an end counting down the days until, "disaster," strikes. All the while the person who has caused this disaster, Barack Obama is creeping behind the scenes letting financial markets know that all will be well yet still using the power of the Presidency to scare the people to enlist their help in trying to force his way upon the Congress and us.

And he considers this leadership. A true leader would be leveling with the public and assuring concerned citizens that although the debt/deficit is a major problem The United States will still be strong, our debts will be paid and the people can still depend upon our country to remain solvent. But not Obama he prefers to scare, lie and create havoc which is what he does best!

OBAMA SPENT 15 MINUTES LYING TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE

This post is going to short and to the point. Obama spoke on TV about the debt ceiling debate and spent 15 minutes lying, blaming Bush, blaming Republicans and acting like only he had any sense which in itself is a lie. This man makes me sick to my stomach and I watched this pack of lies he delivered only because I had to see for myself just how much he would lie in order to deceive the American people.

His entire focus was on blaming everyone but himself for the deficit/debt problem we have by immediately going all the way back to 2000 and George Bush. He took words and actions that Ronald Reagan made out of context and in a completely different situation in order to try and shame conservatives and those that admire Reagan into supporting his lie and his WRONG approach to tackling this problem.

He said our credit rating would drop if the debt ceiling wasn't raised and his ,"balanced," approach approved. Not only is this a lie but a blatant bald faced one at that. Even if the debt ceiling is raised Standard and Poors has stated that we are in danger of losing our AAA status because of the SIZE of our debt. Raising the debt ceiling without decreasing the debt significantly only adds to the likelihood that our rating will be lowered.

Obama blamed Republicans for stalling the process but HE and HE alone has continually either stalled or stopped it which is why both Boehner and Reid chose to leave him out of negotiations this week in order to try and actually do some negotiating without Obama as a continual stumbling block.

His lie about accepting the shorter term proposal which would last until next April has nothing to do with ,"kicking the can," down the road but because he wants that can kicked down the road until AFTER the 2012 election so he won't take a beating because of this mess HE created.

He played the class warfare card and was completely partisan while saying he was the only one not being partisan. Barack Obama is the worst type of politician in a town full of bad politicians. He is a political animal who looks out ONLY for his own personal interests and will say and do anything to promote himself and those interests at the expense of the country and the people. He is an insult to the office he holds and an insult to the great men who have preceded him in that office. He is a loser who thinks he is great. A person who deserves and warrants no respect...period!

THE GREAT DEBT CEILING AND SPENDING CUT LIE - THE SUNDAY COMMENTARY

We the people of The United States are being lied to, plain and simple, absolutely lied to by a President and a Congress that claims to be looking out for our best interest but in reality are looking out for THEIR best interest. In order to push a political agenda Barack Obama is scaring our Nation and foreign lands into thinking that come August 2 unless everyone bows to his wishes The United States will default on its loans.

That is absolutely NOT true. The 14th Amendment prohibits by law the Nation from defaulting on any loan made with the approval of Congress and as such if we were to default it would be by order of the President regardless of whether any debt ceiling deal is or is not made and if this happens he as the responsible officer of the government who gave the order would be in direct violation of The Constitution and the law and as such guilty of a, "high crime or misdemeanor," and immediate grounds for impeachment and removal from office. Even Obama is not stupid enough to violate this law. So the debt will be paid and we will not default.

That in a nutshell is the great lie being told to the American people about the need for raising the debt ceiling. The reason Obama wants the debt ceiling raised as well as many in Congress from BOTH parties who are in favor of it lies solely in the fact that without raising the debt ceiling and borrowing more money they CANNOT continue spending at the rate they have grown accustomed to. This is also why Democrats and Obama especially are pushing for additional revenues through new taxes. A ploy like raising the debt ceiling to grow government and grow spending.

This is where they are all talking out of both sides of their mouth. If the cuts that are being proposed were real and binding cuts as well as immediate there would be NO NEED to raise a ceiling nor borrow any money since cutting would eliminate the, "need," making current revenues sufficient to meet current expenditures. This is budgeting 101. You spend ONLY what you have. If you don't have it you cut spending to match revenue. That is a concept Obama and most of Congress cannot fathom because they are all spendaholics and drunk with using OUR money for their projects.

With that said we now move on to the second lie being told to the American people concerning spending cuts. As I mentioned before if the proposed cuts were immediate and planned for the here and now making governments budget as ANY business or American family must to survive by ONLY spending what comes in and cutting to keep from creating debt by having to borrow to meet over spending, then the debt ceiling debate is a moot point.

But Congress and Obama are proposing $3 to $4 trillion dollars of spending cuts stretching them out over ten years which makes spending still exceed revenue since most of the cuts won't be applicable until well off into the future which means this stupid debate over the debt ceiling will continue as revenues will not meet the supposed ,"decrease," in spending since they are NOT immediate.

The second fallacy in this spending debate lies in the length of time the cuts are stretched namely ten years. The Constitution prevents ANY Congress from binding another on spending items which means that no matter WHAT the figures or how many cuts the spending cuts that take place between the time this debacle is passed and the end of the current Congress are the ONLY cuts that are binding. All others cuts will depend upon the next Congress passing and agreeing to continue the plan to cut over the ten year term.

An example of how this works is Social Security. Most Americans believe that SS is an automatic expenditure that passes on from Congress to Congress because it has been in existence since it was first passed during the Roosevelt Administration. WRONG. Each Congress since the end of the term of the original Congress that passed the SS bill is required by the Constitutional provision preventing the binding of one Congress to anothers legislation to pass a bill which funds SS for the term of that particular Congress. ANY CONGRESS BY LAW CAN DEFUND SS WHEN IS PLEASES AND AS SUCH END THE PROGRAM. They don't because they know it would be political suicide.

The proposed spending cuts fall under this same Constitutional provision. If a future Congress decided NOT to continue the spending cuts as passed by the current Congress they are under NO obligation to do so and that will be the END of this decade long process of cutting the federal budget. Obama knows this and every member of Congress who is backing a decade long approach to cutting spending knows this.

The ONLY way spending is guaranteed to be cut is if a number is reached and ALL spending cuts are made Before this current Congress adjourns at the end of its term following the 2012 calendar year. Other wise it becomes the responsibility of the next elected Congress to continue and they may choose not to or choose to cut far less than what is passed by the current Congress.

This is also why a Balanced Budget Amendment is so important. With such an Amendment every Congress by Constitutional law would be required to cut spending and keep it in line with whatever the revenue base is during their term of office. The ONLY way a budget can be balanced is if spending and revenues match which eliminates deficit spending and requires EVERY Congress and President to keep it that way.

If Washington were truly serious about cutting spending they would pass the Amendment, cut spending across the board to meet current revenue WITHOUT borrowing more or raising the debt ceiling and make the cuts immediate and binding to this Congress and not stretched out on the assumption that a future Congress will follow through with a plan to cut spending.

They can argue, maneuver, condemn and accuse all they want but until cuts are immediate and they are willing to stick their political necks out and require a Constitutional legality forcing spending to meet revenue then we will NEVER end this debate. We will NEVER get our fiscal house in order and we will continue to spend our children's future and slide ever closer to a bankrupt country with a third world economy.

Fifty years of American pride ended with the final landing of the Space Shuttle Atlantis on July 21, 2011. Since the first sub orbital flight of Alan Shepard on May 5, 1961 to the first steps on the moon by Neil Armstrong July 20, 1969 and the bravery and heroism of the crews who left the bonds of Earth to touch the sky in the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and Space Shuttle programs Americans have known the sense of pride and honor exploring the unknowns of space.

This pictorial tribute is for those whose bravery united our Nation and made us proud to be an American as we made the trips of space discovery for the pride of our country and the betterment of all mankind. DEBT CEILING BATTLE LOOMS IN UNCONSTITUTIONAL TERRITORY

There are three options now before the Congress to settle the falsified crisis of raising the debt ceiling. As I mentioned in a previous post and repeat here, this debt ceiling scare is a farce because no matter what the outcome the ONLY way the debt will not be paid is if Obama orders Geithner NOT to pay the debt creating default.

That in itself would be a violation of the Constitutions 14th Amendment which states in Section 4, "The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned." As anyone can clearly see this Section of the Amendment states that all debt incurred by The United States must by law BE PAID.

It DOES NOT remotely suggest borrowing to do so as Bill Clinton is suggesting as he calls for Obama to exercise this Amendment to raise the debt ceiling by Executive Order. There is nothing in the Amendment calling for borrowing or raising any debt ceiling to pay the debt. It only requires BY LAW that the debt be paid. So defaulting by Presidential order as a scare tactic whether the debt ceiling is raised or not violates the Constitution and is ILLEGAL.

GOP Minority Leader Mitch McConnel has proposed allowing Obama to raise the debt ceiling by proposing it first to Congress then Congress in turn voting on equalizing spending cuts to the raise. Obama then can VETO and use Executive power to raise the ceiling which ALSO violates the Constitution as the ONLY government Branch which has the Constitutional authority over financial matters is the Congress.

McConnels bill in essence grants unconstitutionally dictatorial powers to Obama handing Congressional authority to the Presidency violating the separation of powers and Article II of the Constitution which establishes the financial authority of the Congress and the Congress ONLY.

The third option before Congress that Obama and Reid like which should be enough for anyone with any sense to run away from it as fast as possible, calls for $1 trillion dollars in tax hikes along with $3.5 trillion in discretionary spending cuts. Which does not tackle any of the over bearing spending of the government and as we all know when discretionary spending is put on the table Congress uses their discretion to NOT fulfill these type of cuts. So once again the bill increases taxes and does NOTHING to tackle spending!

The House passed what is being called, Cut Cap and Balance which cuts spending but not enough, still raises the debt limit which is not necessary if serious spending cuts are made and calls for a balanced budget Amendment which is a great idea but because most in Congress aren't serious along with Obama about cutting spending in order to truly balance the budget they do not want an amendment which would bring the courts into the mix forcing by law a balanced budget.

This entire debacle is being played out with scare tactics threatening to hold SS, VA, unemployment and disability checks hostage with Obama being the terrorist holding the hostage to get his way. He also is threatening to violate the Constitution by defaulting unless he gets his way. While I fully believe that even without a debt ceiling deal, which as I mentioned is not necessary because we have the revenue from just one month to meet ALL of the debt and check obligations, the debt and the checks will be paid. If Obama orders otherwise he is violating the Constitution and by law should be impeached and removed from office!

THE GREAT OBAMA DEBT CEILING LIE

The world will come to an end on August 3, 2011, or at least according to Barack Obama and his cronies who are using this ridiculous scare tactic to force a tax increase with little in spending cuts that are stretched over ten years in order to get their liberal way in the debate over the debt ceiling increase.

This is a lie being perpetrated intentionally along with scaring seniors, Vets and those who are disabled by Obama and Dems. A lie that has absolutely no basis, a lie that will not take place and Obama knows it. A lie that is being used ONLY for political maneuvering to scare voters into siding with the liars led by Barack Obama.

First the government takes in nearly $200 billion dollars in revenue each month. More than enough to pay for our debt and all checks which are scheduled to be issued on August 3. Second if the government defaults it will NOT be because the GOP was being stubborn in demanding cuts without tax increases but because BARACK OBAMA AND TIMOTHY GEITHNER CHOSE NOT TO PAY OUR BONDS AND CHOSE NOT TO PAY THE DEBT.

Not because we won't have the money. Not because we haven't extended our debt ceiling and not because the government will automatically default. It will come as a result of Obama ordering Geithner not to pay the debt with revenues available that total more than enough to pay the debt and all checks. This from JUST money which will be taken in during the month of July BEFORE the supposed debt ceiling deadline with another $200 billion in revenues in August.

The world will not come to an end. The government will continue to operate. Our debt will be paid and all checks will go out as normal. If Obama truly thought any of his lies would happen then WHY is he planning a million dollar birthday bash on August 4 the day AFTER he warns the world will come to an end and the government default and shut down?

This is a lie to force his spending agenda, tax increases and expansion of government by exploding the debt ceiling in order to borrow more for his spending spree with the addition of punishing tax increase adding to the borrowed money. The Liar in Chief will say and do anything to force his agenda on the American people even if it means scaring seniors by lying to them and threatening to default on our debt to continue his lie and his scare tactics. This is not leadership but a politial weasel who expects everyone to kiss his backside and bow to his tyranny.

MR. OBAMA WHERE IS YOUR SACRIFICE - A LETTER TO OBAMA - THE SUNDAY COMMENTARY

This post is a direct challenge to Barack Obama and has been e-mailed as such to The White House. I have listened to the whiner in chief call on everyone to make what he referred to as, "shared sacrifice," in order to attack the debt we the people did not make, the deficits we the people did not create and the economic crisis we the people are struggling through. In all of his whining I have yet to hear or see ANY sacrifice made by Obama. So this is my answer as one of his 350 million employers.

Mr. Obama where is your sacrifice?

You have stepped before the public time and again accusing everyone and taking no responsibility for the debt, deficits and economic problems that we are facing as a Nation. You have called and even demanded for what you refer to as, "shared sacrifice," to meet the challenge of bringing our fiscal house in order yet as the supposed leader of our country I have yet to hear or see ANY sacrifice made by you on behalf of this crisis.

You are calling for business to sacrifice by absorbing higher taxes which in turn will stop an already stagnant economy and increase an unemployment rate that has remained above 9% or higher on your watch. While calling on them to pay more you continue to spend on your agenda as if the money is yours to use at your pleasure. Business must sacrifice but your left wing agenda which wreaks of unconstitutional mandates and policy that would anger our Founders continues and is called, "investment."

You condemn those who use corporate jets to create a class war, men and women who have EARNED the right in their companies to use those jets by working to climb the corporate ladder are made to look like evil entities so that your class warfare scheme can create anger in those who support you. You who fly the ultimate corporate jet do so NOT because you have earned it but because it is a privilege granted you by we the people who you are bound by Constitution and oath to answer to. Yet you ignore us and sacrifice NOTHING.

You demand that Congress sacrifice their Independence Day break which I have no problem with but you hypocritically spend the same time at the Presidential retreat golfing several times making no sacrifice while demanding everyone else do so. In fact only members of the PGA spend more time on the links than you while many Americans who would love to relax playing golf cannot because your economic policy has prevented the ability to afford 18 holes while you play FOR NOTHING. Where is your sacrifice?

You call on Americans to take shorter vacations and travel less distance yet your wife leaves with family and friends on a tourist trip to Africa making one speech to 75 women in order to call it a good will visit. The rest of the trip paid for by we the people entailed safaris and other such pleasurable outings. Meanwhile most Americans either cannot take vacation because they can't afford the missed work or stay at home because they can't afford to leave home.

You call on the people to tighten their belt and spend less telling seniors, Vets and those disabled a flat out lie that on August third they may not receive their much depended on checks, knowing all the while this is a long standing budget item that will be paid regardless. Your only goal was to scare in order to force your way in the debt ceiling debate. All the while you are planning a million dollar birthday bash, the day AFTER the checks are supposed to be held back but your 50th party goes on as planned.

The former worst President in our history before you, Jimmy Carter in the days suffered through during his administration called on Americans to sacrifice as you are. Although a bad President he did lead by example. When he called on us to turn down our thermostats to save energy he began with The White House and wore a sweater to stay warm. He may have failed in his Presidency but when he called for sacrifice he led by example.

You sacrifice NOTHING. You would not know what leadership was if the definition was placed before you and read out loud so you could unquestionably understand it. You want taxes raised and Americans to sacrifice more of our hard earned money not to tackle debt but to allow your spending spree to continue giving the illusion that you are cutting by raising more revenue to pay for your folly.

Mr. Obama we did not create this problem, YOU DID. When you entered office the deficit was $464 billion dollars, not good but nowhere close to you $1.2 trillion with trillion dollar deficits for the foreseeable future. You have increased the debt $5 trillion dollars in less than three years more that all of your predecessors from Washington to Reagan combined and more that those since Reagan to George Bush combined. Yet you still place all of the blame on Bush.

You are obviously not interested in sacrificing nor solving the real problem of out of control spending and deficits. You want to raise taxes so your spending can continue and expand our debt to make the, "investments," that have been proven failures since you took office. So since you are NOT willing to sacrifice then we the people will make that sacrifice on your behalf when we vote you out of office in 2012 in order to save our country from you.

OBAMA THE DELUSIONAL - 80% OF AMERICANS WANT HIGHER TAXES

He said it and even though it was Barack Obama and I have come to understand the man will say anything to get what he wants regardless of the consequences, I still found it hard to believe the words actually came out of his mouth. In a press conference to push once again his idea for the plan to raise the debt ceiling Obama stated that 80% of Americans agreed with his approach of cutting spending, (yeah right, Obama cutting spending ), increasing revenue or in other words tax increases.

Obama has been delusional since taking office but this borders on INSANE to claim that 80% of Americans favor increased taxes in order to cover the bill for out of control spending AND increasing the Nations debt limit all at the same time. I ask you how many people do you know that want their taxes increased? No one except those who live in the delusional world of Barack Obama actually believe Americans want their taxes increased. Almost every American believes we are taxed too much already.

Yet in front of the press and to a national and world audience the delusions of Obama were clear, he did state American side with him and want their taxes increased. If ever anyone thought that Obama wouldn't say or do anything to get his way or force an issue toward his view this one statement should take away any doubts as to his delusions and his ability to do anything regardless of the cost to force his agenda on the country.

Americans are paying attention and the vast majority understand that the debt and continued deficits are destroying our economy and our way of life. We the people expect and are demanding that Washington get our fiscal house in order but no one wants that order pushed even further on the backs of the American tax payer except Obama and his liberal cronies who only want the extra money in order to avoid making major cuts and to continue spending at current rates with the, "promise," that sometime in the next decade some cutting will be made.

Republicans state emphatically that tax increases are off the table and a non starter in the talks and the American people agree with no taxation to pay for spending that the people never wanted in the first place. For Obama to publicly state that he has the backing of the people proves just how out of touch he is with real Americans and also how little he cares about the people and the struggles that the economy he has created are placing on the backs of Americans.

OBAMA THE CHILD STOMPS OUT OF DEBT CEILING TALKS

Like a child stomping out of a room when not getting its way, Barack Obama abruptly stormed out of the debt ceiling talks at The White House while telling House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, "don't call my bluff," in reference to statement that he would VETO any short term extension of the debt ceiling.

Yet another example that the children are running The White House and Obama is the biggest child of them all. Obama continues to push for immediate tax increases to business which will kill an already stagnant economy and what few cuts he is agree to will not begin until AFTER he leaves office.

Anyone with any sense understands that come August 2 when the fictitious debt ceiling will supposedly be reached, the country WILL NOT default on our debts and inspite of the scaremongering of Barack Obama SS, VA and disability checks WILL be issued as always. Yet the child in The White House thinks he can get his way by stomping out of the meeting.

Just before he stormed out he whined that if the GOP does not agree with him he will, "take it to the people," acting as if we side with him. Well Barack you have taken it to the people for nearly three years and we have taken it in the backside because of your failed polices. So go ahead and, "take it to the people," and we the people will tell YOU where YOU can take it because, WE ARE FED UP WITH YOUR GARBAGE AND WILL NOT TAKE IT ANYMORE!

The dishonesty, no out right lying of Barack Obama and his scaremongering over the debt ceiling is inexcusable and no matter how one looks at it wrong. Whining, walking out and playing political games is NOT what we the people want yet it is all that Obama is and will do. He is not nor ever will be a leader but a child who will do anything to get his way and force his tax and spend socialist redistribution agenda down our throats to the destruction of America.

BARACK OBAMA STOOPS TO NEW LOW TO TRY AND GET HIS WAY

"I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August third if we don't resolve this issue." With those words as seen in the above video Barack Obama blatantly lied to the American public in an effort to try and get his way in the debt ceiling debate by scaring voters.

Claiming that if the debt ceiling issue is not resolved before August third that Social Security, VA and disability checks will not go out to those who are expecting them and yes depending on them is scaremongering at its worst and a lie that stoops to a new low for a politician who has used scare tactics and deception as an intricate tool throughout his Presidency.

First of all, even if an agreement is not reached before August third the government WILL NOT default on its debt. If nothing else the interest will be paid preventing any default. Second SS, VA and disability payments are part of long planned budgetary spending and will be paid on time just like any other part of government spending like Defense etc.

When Obama uttered these words answering the question of the CBS reporter he knew he was lying when he spoke and also knew he would scare thousands of Americans in the process. This was NOT Presidential nor was it called for in any way. He used the power and prestige of the Presidency to lie to the public in order to try and get his way by using the lie to pressure Republicans into caving over his demands that taxes are raised as well as the debt ceiling by August third.

There will be no great economic catastrophe if the debt ceiling is not raised. We will not default if the debt ceiling is not raised and checks WILL GO OUT if the debt ceiling is not raised. Barack Obama is a liar and has no qualms about scaring seniors, Vets and the disabled in order to get what he wants. This blatant fear mongering DOES NOT belong in The White House.

Barack Obama took to the airways not only trying to sound like a centrist in the debt ceiling debate but the Lecturer in Chief also pretended that HE was the ONLY calm and the great moderator between the parties.

In actuality the ONLY thing centrist about Obama is that he was standing in the center of the podium during the presser. As far as his being the voice of calm in the debate it is OBAMA who is keeping the debate hot and heavy by calling for immediate tax increases on business to increase revenues and then a few years down the line cutting spending by ONLY $2 trillion dollars. MR. OBAMA WE DO NOT HAVE A REVENUE PROBLEM BUT A SPENDING PROBLEM!

This is not only a non started but will NEVER pass. In 2009 Obama stated emphatically in an interview as he bragged about his failed stimulus package that raising taxes in a recession would deepen the recession and kill jobs. Now all he talks about is raising taxes especially on business who are the ONLY job creators in the nation!

His arrogance during the presser as he patted himself on the back for being so great and so in tune with the American people was enough to turn anyones stomach. He is so out of touch and the asinine statement about,"eating our peas," made his arrogance sound STUPID. He has no right lecturing anyone on economic matters when EVERY move he has made has failed and taken our economy further into recession and raised unemployment.

The debt ceiling scare tactic is not being bought by the American people and the people have rejected Obama's ideas, proposals and policy. Obama is not pulling the wool over anyones eyes except his own as he tries to deceive at every turn.

THE MANNED SPACE PROGRAM, AMERICAS PRIDE - THE SUNDAY COMMENTARY

I am a fiscal Constitutional conservative who believes in extremely limited government and cutting all spending to the bare bones. I full understand the need to eliminate the massive amounts of wasteful programs and repetitive programs as well as cutting spending across the board to get our fiscal house in order and attack the debt problem.

With that said, while I understand many who see The United States manned space program as an unnecessary eliminate of our government I am saddened at the ending of this major era of our history. An era that saw Americas greatest achievement and gave us heroes who are remembered for the tremendous risk each made for the exploration of space and the advancement of science.

So many of our advancements in science can be directly attributed to the manned space program. Everything from the initial idea that gave us the cell phone to dehydrated foods and many of the advancements in computers and even smoke detectors and cordless power tools. This link provides an excellent source of many of the technologies we take for granted and use daily that came directly from the space program.

Yet for many of my generation the manned space program is much more as we recall those magical and spine tingling moments in which we watched men who became our heroes leave Earths bounds to venture into space with all of its unknowns and dangers.

We remember the heroes who flew the Mercury missions beginning with Alan Shepard. Heroes like John Glenn, Gus Grissom, Gordo Cooper, Scott Carpenter, Wally Shirra and Deke Slayton who braved space alone in the infancy of the space program not knowing what faced them in that great beyond but willing to make the trip for our country and in answer to the call from President Kennedy for America to place a man on the Moon before the decade of the sixties was out, a goal that the fantastic people of NASA reached with the culmination of Americas greatest achievement.

July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong uttered the famous words,"that's one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind," as he descended from the Lunar Module and made the first footprints on the surface of the moon. Many would follow Armstrong in the dangerous undertaking as several additional missions landed on the Moon fulfilling and enhancing this greatest of American accomplishments.

I also remember those who sacrifice the ultimate as the gave their lives in the quest for space. The Astronauts of Apollo I, Gus Grissom, Ed White And Roger Chaffe whose ship caught fire during a test run of the Apollo I capsule. The brave crew of the Space Shuttle Challenger, Dick Scobee, Judy Resnik, Ron McNair, Ellison Onizuka, Greg Jarvis and of course Christa McAuliffe.

The brave souls of Shuttle Columbia, Rick Husband, Bill McCool, Mike Anderson, Dave Brown, Kalpana Chawla, Laurel Clark and Ilan Ramon. Every one of these brave heroes of space considered it their duty and honor to make the dangerous trip into space for the betterment of all mankind and the advancement of The United States space program.

Since that first sub orbital flight by Alan Shepard in May of 1961, The United States has been the leader of the world in space flight and space achievements. With the launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis the beginning of the end of the era of American achievement in space and heroes of children of all ages is coming to an end. When Atlantis makes the final glide as it returns to Earth after completing its mission Americas manned space program will be over.

Yes its save money, yes it may or may not continue in the private sector, yes thousands of people involved in the Shuttle program will find themselves without a job. But sometimes ending certain programs that bring pride, achievement and great accomplishment and honor to our Nation is not in the best interest of our Nation.

As a fiscal conservative I have mixed emotions to a point with the ending of our space program. But sometimes ending something that has brought great achievements, advancements in technology unprecedented in just about any program or field and tremendous pride, honor and recognition for our country, the expense becomes worth the cost and should not be cut.

America is identified with space and after Atlantis lands that identification will end. We have led and now we will become $100,000 dollar per person hitchhikers on board Russian vehicles just to continue our participation on the International Space Station. This is a sad epitaph for such heroes as we have know in our manned space program. It is also a sad epitaph for a program that has given our country so much.

Our National quest for space is at an end and even if the private sector does continue on, it will not be The America Flag that will appear on the ships but only commercial ventures and not achievements which promote National pride and unity. The landing of Atlantis will be a sad day for our country and those who have given their all in our manned space program will look down from the heavens with a tear in their eyes as they and we bid farewell to the pride of America.

THE FINAL LAUNCH OF AMERICAS MANNED SPACE PROGRAM

The Space Shuttle Atlantis blasted off into history as it took to the heavens in the final manned space mission of The United States space program. Beginning with the sub-orbital flight of Alan Shepard in May of 1961 Americans have ruled the skies and led the way in space exploration. Atlantis marks the end of more than 50 years of manned space missions.

God's speed Atlantis and may your journey be safe as you bring to a close an era of space flight and an end to one of the greatest eras of American discovery and ingenuity in our Nations history.

ILLEGALS STAMPEDE ON BORDER CAUSE MASSIVE DUST STORM IN PHOENIX

A massive dust storm consumed the city of Phoenix, Arizona causing low visibility and leaving debris, damage and a path of dust in its path. The source of the dust storm was not immediately known until further investigation found that the cause of the dust storm was the stampede of illegal aliens rushing across the Mexican/Arizona border.

Yes the illegal alien stampede across our southern border is a terrible problem but just could not resist having a little fun with the story of the Phoenix dust storm.

CASEY ANTHONY, THE PROSECUTION FAILED NOT THE SYSTEM

I like many of you found myself greatly disappointed in the verdict rendered in the murder trial of Casey Anthony the twenty something mother accused of murdering her two year old daughter Caylee three years ago. She was charged with first degree murder, manslaughter and child abuse along with four counts of lying to police. The Jury convicted her of the four counts of lying to police and nothing more.

Immediately the media, pundits and nearly everyone else began crying about how our justice system failed little Caylee Anthony since her mother who had already been convicted by many in the press and quite a number of Americans was found not guilty of murder. This is not the case at all, the justice system did not fail the prosecution failed to present a case which eliminated all reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony did in fact kill her daughter.

While I like many of you solely from her actions in the weeks before Caylee's body was found believe that Casey Anthony was much more involved in what happened to her daughter, our justice system did exactly what our Founders designed it to do. Casey Anthony though charged with the murder of her daughter was considered innocent until PROVEN guilty and the burden of proof fell upon the prosecution and they completely failed to present a case that proved anything other than Casey Anthony lied to police.

Jurors in the case were charged with deciding Casey Anthony's fate based solely on the evidence presented and not the cries of the media or the perception of those who had been following the case through the media. Jurors, as our justice system is designed to do, found in accordance to the evidence presented them there was reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony did not kill her daughter and as such found her not guilty of the charges.

Did the prosecution drop the ball? Most likely. They were so caught up in trying to get a first degree murder conviction they neglected to present a case that could prove anything except that Anthony lied to police. Was Casey Anthony involved more than appeared by the evidence presented by the prosecution? There is a strong possibility that she was based on her actions during the initial phases of the missing person part of little Caylee's disappearance.

But once again NOTHING was proved by the prosecution even using circumstantial evidence and the jury was left with no choice but to find her not guilty based on the evidence presented to them. Our justice system worked and the prosecution failed to present a case against Anthony that proved without any doubt she killed her daughter.

If Casey Anthony was more involved with the death of her daughter that is between her and God and she will receive what she deserves for it. We will never know what happened to Caylee Anthony but rest assured that this innocent little girl is safe in the hands of a loving God and she will never suffer again.

Was Casey Anthony a bad mother? This is likely but she was not charged with being a bad mother. She was charged with murder and manslaughter and the prosecution proved neither. Don't blame the jury or the system for the results of this trial. If you are angry with the verdict then place the blame where it belongs, on a prosecution team that failed to present the case they sought.

Out justice system worked. In this country anyone charged with a crime is innocent until PROVEN guilty and in this case it was NOT proven and as a result Anthony was found not guilty by a jury of her peers. If she did kill her daughter or was involved in her death in any way it is Casey Anthony who will have to live with that and not the jury, the failure of the prosecution or the justice system.

THE OBAMA RECESSION A SERIES OF FAILURES AND BIG BUCKS FOR OBAMA CRONIES

The supposed great Obama recovery which as we all know is non existent has Obama's own economists finally admitting the truth about just how bad the so called stimulus that Obama and Biden are still claiming saved us from complete economic destruction. Few jobs were actually created and those thaT were fell into Union hands giving this massive Democrat donor base plenty of government money at the expense of the tax payer through the failed stimulus.

According to The White House Council of Economic Advisers the few jobs created by the so called stimulus cost tax payers, $278,000! Yes more that one quarter of a million dollars per job and almost all of it went into Union hands as a reward for supporting Democrats. The total tax payer out lay for these jobs was $666 billion dollars. Ironic isn't it that the number is three sixes.

Of course the number of jobs LOST far exceeds those gained by the stimulus as unemployment has risen and stayed steady above 9% for more than a year an a half with only a slight dip below 9% which only lasted about two months. When taking into account those that have just given up looking for unavailable jobs the true number is closer to 15%.

The Obama recession that is bleeding the economy and citizens dry is not affecting The White House as it was announced Obama's 450 aides will receive salaries totaling $37,121,463 this year. That equals $81,765.34 per job working for Obama. Not a bad salary during a time when most Americans are struggling to pay bills and keep food on the table due mostly to the economic policy of Barack Obama.

We have just celebrated the 235th birthday of our great Nation. The rumbling that you are hearing around the country is not the rumble of thunderstorms or the quaking of the Earth but the sound of those great men who fought to birth our land of the free, men like Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Franklin, rolling over in their graves in response to the policies of Obama.

THE HIGH COST OF FREEDOM IS OUR INDEPENDENCE - THE SUNDAY COMMENTARY

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

With these words Thomas Jefferson embodied the heart of freedom and liberty. As the signers of the Declaration Of Independence placed their very lives on the line for these principles of freedom to gain independence on that summers day in 1776 they gave birth to a new idea. An idea that had never before found its equal or better in a government by man. An idea that encompassed the most basic of human rights but had never before been allowed to flourish in any country.

An idea which allowed all people regardless of where they came from, who their parents were, what their financial status was or how they worshipped the unalienable right to think do and live as they pleased. To prosper in accordance with their will and willingness to achieve. To worship in accordance to their personal beliefs. To raise their family on their own land without being subservient to another.

To live without the fear of oppression or threat of a tyrant, monarch or government that imposed their will upon the individual. To some all of these freedoms were not evident from the beginning but the ground work was laid to make those freedoms possible for any and everyone.

To this cause and the birth of this new nation in which these freedoms could find root in the heart and life of every person who set foot upon her shores, the signers of The Declaration dedicated themselves in, "support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor. "

It would be another six years before full independence was gained and yet another seven more before the government which embodied theses principles of freedom was established. In those long hard fought years many would sacrifice their, lives , fortunes and sacred honor, to gain the freedom that was promised in The Declaration.

Most who made this sacrifice never signed the document that gave birth to this Nation. Most who sacrificed never made the pledge of the signers publicly but all who sacrificed realized that with freedom comes a price and each were willing to pay that price regardless of the cost, for in their hearts they knew that their sacrifice would not be in vain. With that sacrifice would come a new nation forged in blood and dedicated to the premise that all people should and can be free.

Those who made this sacrifice were not making an idle stand nor one that just followed the crowd but willingly stood for what they believed and sought within their very heart, the chance to be free. The chance to wake every morning to know that they held within their own hands the ability to lead the life of their choosing. This is why they fought. This is why many died and this is why throughout our history we have continued to fight and sacrifice to pay the price of freedom.

As we celebrate this 235th birthday of our freedom, as a nation let us not forget the sacrifice that has been made through all of those years to continually insure that each generation of Americans can enjoy the same freedoms as the generations who have gone before. Let us not forget the reason that we as a nation exist that, " life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, " may always be our national creed and our national calling.

May we never take for granted those freedoms and realize each freedom we possess as individuals and as a Nation has come with great sacrifice from the very inception of our country and that sacrifice still continues today to insure those freedoms and this Nation continue to live. We have a heritage of freedom and it is a heritage that we owe to continue at any cost to insure that future generations of Americans can celebrate and live in that same freedom.

THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

On a rain soaked Tuesday 56 Americans gathered in the state house of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania voting on a Resolution of Independence proposed by Henry Lee of Virginia in June. Two days later, the fourth of July the immortal document, The Declaration of Independence was adopted to officially notify all why we must be a free and independent Nation severing all ties with Great Britain.

For this sacred cause these brave men were willing to sacrifice their, lives, fortunes and sacred honor to be free! Fellow Americans and patriots why we are who we are as a Nation and the reasons that we became a Nation must be reinforced and a constant reminder of what has been sacrificed for our liberty and the willingness to give all for freedom.

So in celebration of this day in which our Nation was born and the Resolution of Independence was adopted by the Continental Congress I share with you our Declaration Of Independence. God bless America on our 235th birthday.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only. He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures. He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. LIBERTY WILL REIGN IN AMERICA

As we celebrate the 235th birthday of our Nation it is good to remember those who forged this great Republic and fought to ensure that the freedoms that we all hold so dear would be lasting and follow through for each passing generation of Americans.

The HBO miniseries, John Adams provides one of the greatest historical glances into those founding days of our Republic. In this clip Adams makes his first public speech as he begins the quest which would eventually lead to an independent America. We see the fire and zeal for liberty as Adams proclaims, "Liberty shall reign in America."
