BREAKING NEWS....BARACK OBAMA NOW HAS MUSLIM ROOTS
Throughout the tedious campaign cycle leading up to the 2008 election the fact that Barack Obama had Muslim roots was a subject that was considered off the table when discussing the candidate who would be President of The United States of America. If the subject was broached that person was accused of being racist or of out right calling Obama a terrorist or worse.
His middle name, "Hussein," was seldom mentioned and once again if that name given him at birth was mentioned the accusation of racism or hate mongering was placed upon the person who had the unmitigated gall of mentioning the middle name of a Presidential candidate. The campaign did everything within its power with the help of the Barack loving media to hide the true fact that Barack Hussein Obama had Muslim roots and in fact attended a Muslim school in his younger years.
Then he was elected President. On Inauguration day for the first time it became appropriate for his middle name to be mentioned. Soon after taking office Obama gave an interview that was intended to, "reach out," to the Muslim world and he publicly admitted in the interview his Muslim roots.
Now he is on his first official State visit as President to the Middle East and in a conference call in preparation for the trip to Cairo, Egypt deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications Denis McDonough said "the President himself experienced Islam on three continents before he was able to -- or before he's been able to visit, really, the heart of the Islamic world -- you know, growing up in Indonesia, having a Muslim father -- obviously Muslim Americans (are) a key part of Illinois and Chicago."
Obama bent over backwards during his campaign to all but deny this part of his heritage and in fact acted as if he was being insulted when his middle name was mentioned or his initials using the ,"H," were used claiming that it was an attempt to frighten voters and racial bigotry toward him.
The fact is that Obama had a Muslim father, attended Muslim school as a young child and, yes does have a Muslim sounding name. But during the campaign because it was thought to be politically damaging he tried to hide these facts and acted offended forcing accusations of racism and attempts to derail his campaign simply because his true back ground was mentioned. As a candidate Obama thought it politically expedient to distance himself from the truth about his Muslim roots.
Now that he is President and especially since he is making it part of his policy to, "reach out," to the Muslim world it becomes politically expedient to advertise his Muslin roots and declare his pride in this part of his personal heritage. Whether he has Muslim roots is not the real issue in this matter but the fact that he only admits it publicly because of political purpose IS an issue.
When he perceived that it would damage his chances for election Obama considered it an insult and racist to mention his middle name and his Muslim roots. Now that he thinks it will earn him points on his Middle East trip and with the Arab World, he is proud of that back ground and willingly expresses his Muslim roots.
In September 2008 during the heat of the Presidential campaign Barack Obama stated, " We're going to try to scare people about Barack. So we're going to say that, you know, maybe he's got Muslim connections.'...Just making stuff up." In comparison on April 6, 2009 while addressing the Turkish Parliament Obama said this, "Americans have Muslims in their families or have lived in a Muslim majority country. I know, because I am one of them."
During the campaign when reference was made of his Muslim roots Obama declared it a," scare tactic," and made up. Now that it is considered politically expedient to press his policy toward the Muslim world Obama readily declares his Muslim heritage, parentage and roots.
Again his heritage is not the issue but the fact that who he is has only been admitted now that it is politically expedient. This reveals again a hypocrisy in Obama that shows that he will be whomever and whatever he deems necessary in order to make political gain.
If he is before gun owners, he loves the Second Amendment. If he is before gun haters, the Second Amendment is addressed only to State Militias. If he is before a group who is pro-life, then he speaks of measures to prevent abortion and how terrible abortion is. If he is before those who are pro-choice he expounds on the necessity of the Freedom of Choice Act which legalizes all types of abortion.
If he is standing in front of the military they are brave Americans who serve our country and protect freedom. If he is before a European audience that he believes dislikes America then he apologizes for our, "militaristic," ways and the arrogance we have displayed in the defense of freedom. Then defending freedom in referred to as, "dismissive, even derisive."
When he thought it damaging to his campaign for President his Muslim heritage was off limits and when brought up, accusations of racism and scare tactics were made. Now that it politically helps his Middle East policy, he is proud of his Muslim roots and claims a close association with the United States Muslim community. The Obama hypocrisy never ends !

Odd how this is panning out.
Yesterday:
"How dare you use his legal name: RACIST!"
Today:
"Embrace the world of many cultures!"
Hypocrites.
This man is your employee, a public servant. You are the public. If you do not like what he is doing you have the right and the duty to fire him. You hired him to represent you. He works for you. If instead of representing you, his employer, he opts for satisfying his own "personal vision" he has gone against your contract and he must be let go.
We wonder when looking back over history how whole communities blindly follow a charismatic leader into insane, horrible fates. You are currently witnessing and participating in that dynamic right now. It is your choice how history views you and your actions or inactions.
Bad things happen when good people stand by and do nothing.
I am pleased to see that comments on this page have no hatred or rabid tones. This is good.
Why is any tie to Muslims, any reference to his middle name such a problem for you?
Were bush's 'crusader' remarks more palatable to you? Did his being a Christian stop him from lying, gaining wealth and killing innocent Americans and Iraqis< through a totally mach invasion of a country with no ties to 9/11?
All religions must take a back seat in world affairs. Mr. Obama has statesmanship, dignity and shoulders broad enough to carry the immense weight of his chosen calling, including erratic and fickle public opinion.
Obama needs to remember that he is not the President of the World! He is the President of of the United States of America and represents the people and it's Judaeochristian core values and beliefs of this Country for 233 years
I believe within 8-9 months that there will be a call of the majority of people both Democrat and Republican in this Country to either force him to step down or by impeachment proceedings as President.
The country has been fooled by a charade of deception by BHO, and transparency will prove this.
I agree with you, my friend. This is not "a Muslim nation"! The hypocrisy is rampant in this administration, and I believe Obama's will become legend.
To one of the anons...
Please don't take Bush's "crusader" comment out of context and spin it to mean more than is there.
Weigh into your equation the following:
November 16, 2001:
The President’s message includes brief quotes from the Koran, and refers to Islam as a religion that values charity, mercy and peace.
Mr. Bush notes the Muslim population of the United States is growing rapidly, with millions of American believers. He says they are a diverse group that serves in every walk of life, including the U.S. armed forces.
President Bush visited a mosque days after the events of 9/11.
In his socks, as is Muslim practice, Bush padded through the ornate mosque on Washington”s Embassy Row and heard stories from his hosts about Muslim-American women afraid to leave their homes for fear of prejudiced backlash after last week”s terrorist strikes.
“Those who feel like they can intimidate our fellow citizens to take out their anger don”t represent the best of America, they represent the worst of humankind and they should be ashamed of that kind of behavior,” Bush said, his back to the brilliantly tiled prayer alcove facing Mecca.
He quoted from the Quran and fervently defended the Islam faith: “Islam is peace. These terrorists don”t represent peace, they represent evil and war.”
September 20, 2001…
The terrorists practice a fringe form of Islamic extremism that has been rejected by Muslim scholars and the vast majority of Muslim clerics; a fringe movement that perverts the peaceful teachings of Islam … [Islam's] teachings are good and peaceful, and those who commit evil in the name of Allah blaspheme the name of Allah …The terrorists are traitors to their own faith, trying, in effect, to hijack Islam itself.
November 1, 2001:
Thanksgiving is not the only holiday this week at the White House. On Monday night, Bush became the first president to host a traditional Ramadan dinner, or iftar.
The event was attended by representatives of 53 Muslim countries and senior U.S. officials. The Pentagon and State Department plan Ramadan meals for next week.
Continuing the interfaith message that Bush has repeated since the start of the war on terrorism, Bush told attendees that Ramadan, Christmas, and Hanukkah are opportunities for nations to celebrate together and understand one another better.
“America respects people of all faiths and America seeks peace with people of all faiths,” the president said at Monday’s dinner. “I thank you for your friendship and I wish you a blessed Ramadan.”
invasion of a country with no ties to 9/11?
Please point me to the exact quote where Bush said Iraq had a hand in the events of 9/11.
