And I plan on turning myself into the most beautiful woman on earth. I doubt I can do it, but I can certainly plan it, can't I? If Obama can make impossible plans like spending money that doesn't even exist, then I can make impossible plans too, and my plan has every bit as much of a chance of working as his does.

Among his many promises upon taking office, President Obama's goal of cutting the federal deficit in half by the end of his first term is perhaps his loftiest.
Yet with each spending proposal Obama rolls out, the deficit grows astronomically and the American people are growing more concerned. (Concerned? They ought to be outraged, but I guess "concerned" is better than nothing.)
The president's health care reform plan alone, without an agreement on how to pay for it, would pile on more than $1 trillion over the next decade to the already enormous 2009 deficit which is estimated at $1.8 trillion. But Obama is adamant that his plan must be "deficit neutral."
"Like energy, this is legislation that must and will be paid for. It will not add to our deficits over the next decade. We will find the money through savings and efficiencies within the health care system," he said on Tuesday.

BWAAAHAAAHAAAHAAA! Excuse me, but he may as well tell us we can pull it out of our ears. His plans for cutting the deficit through the health care system will result in cutting off our noses to spite our faces. The following short video was posted on You Tube on September 16, 2007. Now I ask you, is Obama making it worse or better? Dumb question, isn't it?
Yep, hyperinflation is coming, alright - brought to you by your charming POTUS who promised us all HOPE and CHANGE. Well, Obama didn't lie. After all, we "hope" this country will survive when all we are left with is pocket "change".

Don't you remember he has already ,"cut," spending ? Just after he signed the $787 BILLION dollar stimulus debacle, spending our bucks for liberal dreams that have been denied for years, Obama ,"cut," $17 MILLION from the budget. Oh my what tremendous fiscal discipline,(all sarcasm intended).
He won't cut anything. But to a Democrat when a program does not recieve all of a proposed spending INCREASE they consider it a cut. That is what he has in mind when he talks about cuts.
He is all about spending and government control through that spending. Karl Marx would be proud.

Hyperinflation is likely, but may not happen. Americans are not spending money right now, and prices of most goods continue to fall.
Cap and Trade, however, will change the economic picture as those taxes will hit everyone and could further devalue the dollar.
We (my husband and I) haven't noticed prices falling yet, at least not in the grocery stores where we're at, Always. In fact, they seem to be on the rise. Although we understand they're falling in the auto industry and housing market. Too bad we aren't in the market for either!
You should check out the little video I posted concerning todays little Congressional dry-hump. Even Barry admits that we're all screwed.
I've never in my life prayed so hard for a fatal plane crash as I do when he gets inside Airforce one.
I have a hard time understanding how the Marines and Airmen that he has around him in Airforce one and Marine one hasn't thrown his ass out at 5 thousand feet, sans chute.
In my never-to-be-humble opinion this man is a clear and present danger to the Constitution and to the nation.
I agree, Greywolfe. He is indeed a very dangerous man. But don't lose hope. The Cap and Trade BS still has to pass the Senate. I doubt it will and please pray that I'm right!
