SEPTEMBER 11, 2001, WE WILL NEVER FORGET
Today marks seven years since that terrible September day when The United States was attacked by enemies that long before we understood had declared war against our Nation.
Evil men who lived among us were instructed by evil men who used Allah as an excuse to murder and try and destroy everything sacred to who we are and what we believe as a Nation. In doing so they destroyed The World Trade Center, inflicted tremendous damage on the Pentagon and drove a plane full of brave Americans into the ground in Pennsylvania.
Nine of these radical Islamic fanatics flew three planes into buildings killing thousands of brave innocent Americans in the most cowardly act ever committed.
Though they destroyed our buildings and killed our people, they could not destroy who we are nor kill our spirit.
Today we remember those who perished and the brave men and women who came to the rescue of the survivors. We also remember the brave men and women in the uniforms of The United States military who have since that September day taken the fight to the enemy and have defeated many and continue to defeat these radical fanatics.
God bless those who lost friends and loved ones seven years ago. God bless those who have sacrificed giving the last full measure in defending this nation against this and other enemies.
God bless the hundreds of emergency workers who gave so much. God bless the memory of those who died in the buildings and the planes. And God bless America.

Wonderful memorial post, Ken. I wish I could have done one. I can't sit for very long, but am going to try to visit my favorite bloggers every once in awhile. I miss you guys and gals!
Anyway, it is obvious that we conservatives haven't forgotten the terrible events of 9/11. To those who would like to forget it, shame on them!
I will NEVER Forget.
God Bless America!
9/11 should be engraved upon every American's heart and seared into memory.
We must never forget. We never will. But most important...we cannot forget for if we do we only will allow it to happen again.
An important post Ken! Nor should we ever forget ... Seven years already, and while we haved moved on we must at all costs keep the memory of this tragedy alive, for it could happen again. Time tends to heal but it can also result in complacency. I suspect Obama would rather us forget and forgive, move on so to speak...
May God protect America for without it; there goes the free world...
