AL QAEDA IS HISTORY IN FALLUJAH
Top Marine Commander in the Anbar province in Iraq has stated that, "Al Qaeda fighters will be expelled from Fallujah by August." This coming while here at home Senate Majority leader Harry Reid continues to spout that the, " surge is failing, " and the US commanders are , "incompetent."
Opponents of the war had long claimed that Al Qaeda has had no presence in Iraq, then when that myth was proven wrong they have claimed that they only came to Iraq AFTER the US lead invasion in March of 2003.
First for Al Qaeda to be as strong and as prominent in the Anbar province and especially in Fallujah shows that their presence dates back well before March of 2003. Second the fact that they are being eliminated and rather quickly in the last few weeks proves that not only is the surge working but that Harry Reid and the anti-war Democrats have no clue as to what is really happening in Iraq, nor care whether we win or not!
I cannot wait for the day when these defeatist Democrats whose only goal is to surrender will be forced to eat crow as our troops march in triumph down Pennsylvania Avenue. Of course knowing their arrogance as it is they will then try to take credit for the victory. At least it is a comfort to know that most Americans see through their scam and that the troops know and understand the truth about Democrat appeasers and who their true supporters are.

Great Post Ken,
As I understand it our Troops are in the most Al-Queda ridden areas around Baghdad and are clearing out the Terrorists, holding the real estate that has been cleared, and killing off the terrorists as they inch ever closer to Baghdad.
Fallujah is mostly secure. There will alway's be crime, and when you are in the middle of a war it's hard to tell what is crime and what is war, but our Soldiers have figured all that out. To bad the Media looks at every single thing as if it's war related, it wouldnt kill them to tell the truth once in a while, but they are in bed with the Liberals so no chance of that.
Scoundrals like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi dont want us to win this thing, because they will look extremely foolish and they would have to flip flop back again to "I voted for this war"!
But in reality, we won this war a long time ago and could declare victory today, turn around, and leave, but then Al-Queda will take over and start a new Terrorist training playground complete with Monkey Bars and the whole works and we would just have to come back again, so we need to get this right the first time like the Soldiers on the ground want us to do.
And eventually we WILL have to deal with Syria and Iran. Iran is arming the Taliban, Hezblah, Hamas, and every Muslim extremeist organization out there, they have been caught red handed, and have launched proxi wars within Palestine, and Lebanon. We all know what they are up to, at least clear thinking people can see this.
So they will have to be delt with. With the USS Stenis and USS Nimitz setting in President Akmanutjob's backyard, if I were him I would be concerned, but then again he is a madman.
They need to be delt with and soon!

I can't express my disgust for Reid here, Ken. It would make your ears burn! Now, if only I could get Reid face-to-face. I would have no problem expressing my disgust, no problem at all.
