DEMOCRATS ARE FAVORED BY TERRORISTS
If you still believe that Demcorats are strong on National security and their policy of , "redeployment ," out of Iraq is not dangerous and a threat to The United States then read in full this interview borrowed from Mike's America as reported by World Net Daily and see if you still believe that Democrats should be in the majority.
Mideast terror leaders to U.S.: Vote DemocratWithdrawal from Iraq would embolden jihadists to destroy Israel, AmericaBy Aaron Klein
WorldNetDaily.com November 2, 2006JERUSALEM
Everybody has an opinion about next Tuesday's midterm congressional election in the U.S. – including senior terrorist leaders interviewed by WND who say they hope Americans sweep the Democrats into power because of the party's position on withdrawing from Iraq, a move, as they see it, that ensures victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance. The terrorists told WorldNetDaily an electoral win for the Democrats would prove to them Americans are "tired."
They rejected statements from some prominent Democrats in the U.S. that a withdrawal from Iraq would end the insurgency, explaining an evacuation would prove resistance works and would compel jihadists to continue fighting until America is destroyed. They said a withdrawal would also embolden their own terror groups to enhance "resistance" against Israel."Of course Americans should vote Democrat," Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, told WND.
"This is why American Muslims will support the Democrats, because there is an atmosphere in America that encourages those who want to withdraw from Iraq. It is time that the American people support those who want to take them out of this Iraqi mud," said Jaara, speaking to WND from exile in Ireland, where he was sent as part of an internationally brokered deal that ended the church siege.Jaara was the chief in Bethlehem of the Brigades, the declared "military wing" of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party.
Together with the Islamic Jihad terror group, the Brigades has taken responsibility for every suicide bombing inside Israel the past two years, including an attack in Tel Aviv in April that killed American teenager Daniel Wultz and nine Israelis.Muhammad Saadi, a senior leader of Islamic Jihad in the northern West Bank town of Jenin, said the Democrats' talk of withdrawal from Iraq makes him feel "proud."
"As Arabs and Muslims we feel proud of this talk," he told WND. "Very proud from the great successes of the Iraqi resistance. This success that brought the big superpower of the world to discuss a possible withdrawal."Abu Abdullah, a leader of Hamas' military wing in the Gaza Strip, said the policy of withdrawal "proves the strategy of the resistance is the right strategy against the occupation."
"We warned the Americans that this will be their end in Iraq," said Abu Abdullah, considered one of the most important operational members of Hamas' Izzedine al-Qassam Martyrs Brigades, Hamas' declared "resistance" department. "They did not succeed in stealing Iraq's oil, at least not at a level that covers their huge expenses. They did not bring stability. Their agents in the [Iraqi] regime seem to have no chance to survive if the Americans withdraw."
Abu Ayman, an Islamic Jihad leader in Jenin, said he is "emboldened" by those in America who compare the war in Iraq to Vietnam."[The mujahedeen fighters] brought the Americans to speak for the first time seriously and sincerely that Iraq is becoming a new Vietnam and that they should fix a schedule for their withdrawal from Iraq," boasted Abu Ayman. The terror leaders spoke as the debate regarding the future of America's war in Iraq has perhaps become the central theme of midterm elections, with most Democrats urging a timetable for withdrawal and Republicans mostly advocating staying the course in Iraq.
President Bush has even said he would send more troops if Gen. George Casey, the top U.S. commander in Baghdad, said they are needed to stabilize the regionThe debate became especially poignant following remarks by Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., the 2004 presidential candidate who voted in support of the war in Iraq. Earlier this week he intimated American troops are uneducated, and it is the uneducated who "get stuck in Iraq."Kerry, under intense pressure from fellow Democrats, now says his remarks were a "botched joke."
Terror leaders reject Nancy Pelosi's comments on Iraqi insurgencyMany Democratic politicians and some from the Republican Party have stated a withdrawal from Iraq would end the insurgency there. In a recent interview with CBS's "60 Minutes," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, stated, "The jihadists (are) in Iraq. But that doesn't mean we stay there. They'll stay there as long as we're there."Pelosi would become House speaker if the Democrats win the majority of seats in next week's elections.WND read Pelosi's remarks to the terror leaders, who unanimously rejected her contention an American withdrawal would end the insurgency.Islamic Jihad's Saadi, laughing, stated,
"There is no chance that the resistance will stop."He said an American withdrawal from Iraq would "prove the resistance is the most important tool and that this tool works. The victory of the Iraqi revolution will mark an important step in the history of the region and in the attitude regarding the United States."Jihad Jaara said an American withdrawal would "mark the beginning of the collapse of this tyrant empire (America)."
"Therefore, a victory in Iraq would be a greater defeat for America than in Vietnam."Jaara said vacating Iraq would also "reinforce Palestinian resistance organizations, especially from the moral point of view. But we also learn from these (insurgency) movements militarily. We look and learn from them."Hamas' Abu Abdullah argued a withdrawal from Iraq would "convince those among the Palestinians who still have doubts in the efficiency of the resistance."
"The victory of the resistance in Iraq would prove once more that when the will and the faith are applied victory is not only a slogan. We saw that in Lebanon (during Israel's confrontation against Hezbollah there in July and August); we saw it in Gaza (after Israel withdrew from the territory last summer) and we will see it everywhere there is occupation," Abdullah said. While the terror leaders each independently compelled American citizens to vote for Democratic candidates, not all believed the Democrats would actually carry out a withdrawal from Iraq.
Saadi stated, "Unfortunately I think those who are speaking about a withdrawal will not do so when they are in power and these promises will remain electoral slogans. It is not enough to withdraw from Iraq. They must withdraw from Afghanistan and from every Arab and Muslim land they occupy or have bases."He called both Democrats and Republicans "agents of the Zionist lobby in the U.S."Abu Abdullah commented once Democrats are in power "the question is whether such a courageous leadership can [withdraw]. I am afraid that even after the American people will elect those who promise to leave Iraq, the U.S. will not do so. I tell the American people vote for withdrawal. Abandon Israel if you want to save America. Now will this Happen? I do not believe it."
Still Jihad Jaara said the alternative is better than Bush's party."Bush is a sick person, an alcoholic person that has no control of what is going on around him. He calls to send more troops but will very soon get to the conviction that the violence and terror that his war machine is using in Iraq will never impose policies and political regimes in the Arab world."

Vern: If you were born in 1966, you're too young to have remembered much about Vietnam.
Democrats, like John Kerry, actually did the propaganda work for the Viet Cong which enabled them to hold on long enough until the US was forced to withdraw and abandon South Vietnam.
Millions of people died in the ensuing bloodbath which encompassed all of South Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
That's the real Vietnam parallel. Cut and run in Iraq means a massive bloodbath, a victory for terrorists, a war which moves from Iraq to Europe and the U.S.
And it's "literally insane" that Democrats are so mad for short term political gain that they cannot see that.
Better start sewing your burka now Vern.
"In short, the jihadists love the prospect of Republicans staying in power so that the American-soldier-target-practice can continue unabated"
Oh, that's brilliant Vern. I guess you'd think its better if we let them come over here to fight us huh? It doesn't occur to you that they are so desperately fighting our troops simple because they're afraid we might succeed in thwarting them with democracy? Liberals need to get some new talking points.
As far as the Vietnam comparison, its valid, just not the way Dems think it is. The terrorists have made it clear that they are using our spineless removal of Vietnam as the plan for the current war. They will keep fighting and fighting until liberals get their way and we pull out. Then say good bye to Israel and America. Except that Israel won't take that crap, and will bomb the hell out of terror states, and anyone that gets in their way. We could take a lesson from them.
Hey Vern by the looks of things these fools are hopeless. Give it up they love the killing and stealing and will vote for their fascist republicans every time, they're lemmings and the only thing educating them does is make them want to steal more.
You're right this is insane the way this blog queen drags this garbage out and tries to sell it as gospel. I was born before 66, you wanna bring some of your crap my way I'll send you your horns back with your testicles mounted on the points. You lying hate and violence inciting fools are going to get it any ways. I get to do the pre play because your media likes to lie.
People like Rob and Vern are the only people with a grasp of anything here and have been for ages. The rest of the nuts who comment here are infanticidal suicidal lemmings.
Mike - it is too late - Iraq is a bloodbath. It is in civil war and will be for year as the different factions continue to fight it out.
Highboy - the overwhelming majority of violence, mayhem, and death in Iraq is sectarian violence. However, it is not like terrorists are just going to hop on planes and come on over because we leave Iraq - most of them don't have any means to get here.
As for those who do want to come here, that is the reason we need border security - which this president and congress have failed to provide. We also need better port and airport security. But investing in that is much better than spending $1.5 billion A WEEK in Iraq.
I love when liberal trolls talk like tough guys as they hide behind the name "anonymous" leaving their snail trails all over someone else's blog before cutting and running.
This post was an interview with a terrorist and not an op-ed. This terrorist leader stated all of the reasons why they want Dems in charge and why cut and run would make the bloodbath that they are aiming for. He states that they want the US out so they can take control.
Anonymous - please refer to my comment about the media and the media post concerning your ranting on this site. Vern, Rob and Mudkitty who offer opinions that disagree with mine realize that we all have the freedom to express what we believe and also realize that because we believe as we do regardless of who we are and what that belief is does not mean we are nazis or fascists. If you do not like what is said here no one forces you to visit and you have the freedom to come or go as you please. That is true liberty my friend!
I see by the commenters here this is a place to listen to people that have no clue about Nam. the statement of "That's the real Vietnam parallel. Cut and run in Iraq means a massive bloodbath, a victory for terrorists, a war which moves from Iraq to Europe and the U.S."
Is what its really about. Getting a point across seems to be a moot point. I will never know how you guys do it. Put up with the babble of these people that don't get it.

I'm sorry, but it's dispicable to equate me, and other Americans who happen to disagree with you, and who happen to be of another political party, with terrorists. It's not just dispicable, it's unAmerican.
And frankly, I don't make my decisions, or take any actions based on what terrorists think, or what terrorists do or don't want. If you do that, then the terrorists really have won.
I don't take my advice from terrorists.
And just today the Bushies today admitted that they published terrorist bomb making instructions on the Pentagon website! Incredible. The Bushies and republicans can't be trusted with matters of war and peace and national security!
From the POV of Islamofascism, virtually any capitulation, willingness to negotiate or withdrawal from a theatre of war is viewed as weakness, and to pursue that line of reasoning, any weaknesses should be exploited.
A case in point is Gaza -- even before the Israeli evacuation was complete, Hamas and fellow travellers were literally crowing about how well terrorism had proven an effective tool for cowing the Israelis into ceding territory, and vowing to accellerate their jihad as they now knew it would gain them further concessions. And still, Israel went through with the promised Gaza Giveaway. Before the dust even settled on the influx of Palestinians to the Gaza strip, the place was a staging area for rocket attacks on Israeli cities.
Through the 1990s, when Clinton pulled our troops out of Somalia at first blood, then passed on definitively addressing the attacks on our embassies and the U.S.S. Cole, terrorists leered at us and our perceived "toothless tiger" weakness and were spurred on to press their offensive.
Twin Towers, anybody?
No matter how blatantly the leaders of global Islamic terrorist organizations declare their contempt for liberal beliefs as weaknesses that guarantee their victory over western civilization, our liberals continue to act as if "they're only kidding" or blame Bush policies for this aggression, as though the 1990s never happened.
The very history of Islam and its scriptures reflect a religious belief that the world must become one big Islamic planet, and that it is a Muslim's duty to do whatever is necessary to bring that about -- conversion, dhimmitude or death, period. No other options.
The liberals in our society are playing a very dangerous game, here. In effect, they are playing "patty cakes" with a spitting cobra, whether their individual motives are "brotherhood of man" or anti-Bush oriented.
If they get their way, they will find that the rights they now enjoy to advance their agendas will disappear without a trace. What boggles my mind is that many of the liberals -- and the Democrat politicians representing their agendas on the Hill -- are supposed to be some pretty intelligent people. The "intellectual elite", in fact. That does not say a whole lot for our society as a whole.
Seth, I disagree with most of your comments, but let me just address one ridiculous myth that people have about Somalia.
Clinton didn't send the troops to Somalia in the first place. Bush Sr. sent American troops to Somalia on a U.N. humanitarian mission. Clinton inherited that highly-flawed endeavor. However, after Black Hawk Down took place we did not leave upon "first blood." We killed the warlord, Aideed, who was responsible for the attack several months later and then left. In addition, at that time there was no indication that it was an al Qaeda operation - even now there is some question about the veracity of that claim.
Seth, just what would you have us do different - stay in Somalia until we have democracy? How many U.S. soldiers would you have committed and allow to die in such an adventure?
I'm sorry, let me correct one sentence - we remained in Somalia for several months in support of the U.N. mission, but Aideed was reportedly killed in 1996. There is strong speculation that he was killed by U.S. Special Forces at that time.
Funny, I have a few friends who were in Somalia, including a now retired navy SEAL, who unanimously believe we withdrew prematurely, sending a strong message to terrorists that we are weak.
It never ceases to amaze me that liberals always have a different opinion from those of people who are actually in the middle of an event -- take Iraq as a good example: While those who are there are reenlisting in unexpectedly high numbers to continue serving there and say their mission is important, liberals here in the states of course know more than those in-theatre.
This is how we lost in Vietnam -- the liberals here at home won it for the NVA without ever having to fire a shot. Too bad they can't help us win wars the same way, LOL, instead of helping us lose them. We wouldn't even need a military, LOL.
OBL didn't claim responsibility for Somalia until more than 4 years after Black Hawk Down, which is why many intelligence analysts think he is full of it.
What do you suggest we should have done in Somalia? Please be specific about what our mission should have been. If you want to call your SEAL friend and get his opinion that is fine.
The idea of putting thousands of soldiers into harm's way in a country without a government and in the middle of a civil war is crazy. Just look at Iraq.
At least we have a strategic reason to be in Iraq (oil), but there is nothing in Somalia. I look forward to reading what specifically you think we should have done.
Rob --
My comment, in keeping with the thread, was not a dissection of Somalia -- it was to make the point that whenever we withdraw from a conflict, refuse to respond forcefully to an attack or negotiate with terrorists, it makes us appear weak in their eyes and emboldens them to attack more vigorously.
You disagree with me on Somalia, fine -- I see no disputes on Clinton's lack of response to the bombing of our embassies and the Cole.
Whether or not OBL had anything to do with Somalia still has nothing to do with my point, in fact I have never said he did, anywhere, ever; as far as I know, he never claimed credit, he simply pointed to it a few years later as "proof" that the US had become a toothless tiger -- the fact that we did withdraw after American servicemen's bodies were dragged through the streets instead of going in hardcore to defend the honor of both those servicemen and our own reputation was the thing: It sent a message(see above) to terrorists that we are capable of losing our national nerve, cutting and running.
I understand that liberals have no sense of honor, that has been demonstrated numerous times in the last 3 decades or so, so I don't expect you to understand what I'm saying.
That said, being too successful at what I do for a living (for my own good), I am almost perpetually buried in work these days, and have to travel all too much as well, so I'm forced to allocate a lot less time than I would like to blogging, commenting and debate -- therefore the more time I spend answering your perpetual challenges to everything I reply, the less time I have to read other bloggers' posts, comment, etc, so I'm afraid that any reply you make to this will likely go unanswered, as I must move on.
It is nice that you have so much free time to hover at this great site, awaiting any opportunity to comment on any and everything anyone adds to a thread, but some of us do have other committments.
"Cheers"
Congratulations on all of your success! Wow! I'm really impressed. I think you must be the richest blogger I know.
Now I get it, it is not that you don't have a response, you are just too busy. No problem.
I would wish you luck - but you don't really need it seeing how you are already too successful for your own good.
Rob --
Just a brief reply to your sarcastic and immature last comment.
Yes, I am successful at what I do, because I enjoy it, am dedicated to at and as such am exceptionally good at it. Like most Americans, I contribute positively to the marketplace. The projects I am paid to do are lengthy and intensely detail oriented, hence time consuming.
I am what they call a "doer".
You, on the other hand, seem to be one of those people who hide on a college campus, afraid to take on the marketplace where one with your attitude would fail miserably. I have known many academics who have made their own way first, then gone in to teaching from personal experience. I can tell by your obvious contempt for achievers and the concepts that have made America strong that you are not one of these good people.
Rather, you're one of those who prefer to collect a pay check while pontificating before a captive audience, probably in some useless liberal arts venue where you have ample time to inundate your students with leftist political diatribes.
It is really too bad that such an otherwise enjoyable blog is infested with a resident leftist troll/pitbull such as the likes of you, but I guess all bloggers have a regular troll, it goes with the territory.
I will not, however, use up any more of our hosts' bandwidth playing your little sparring game, so by all means, being the immature liberal you are, go ahead and have the last word you so desire. What you say or think doesn't matter a whit to me, anyway, because you are insignificant in every way....
Man, you are presumptuous and insecure.
You know nothing about my life, but I can tell you that you have made ridiculously foolish errors in your assumptions. Why in the world do you care about what I do and how much money I have?
Are you trying to impress me, or other readers on this blog by talking about how successful you supposedly are? I couldn't care less what you do or how much money you may or may not have. It is irrelevant to any debate on this blog.
I do like the name calling . . . and you actually call me immature. That is even funnier.
I hope you continue to have such a great life - I mean that honestly.
Again, I don't make my decisions based on what terrorists want.
This discussion has degenerated somewhat, as political discussion usually does. C'mon guys, I have my own blog dedicated to insulting the other side. This is one of my "peaceful places of rest".
Great. Did you come here to make liberals look bad? Are you being paid by Karl Rove, A? Yes, I'm talking to you.
Highboy, I wish Seth would keep his comments on message. His personal attacks don't bother me, but they are unbecoming.
If you follow the thread he is the one who questions my honor, intelligence, work ethic, and maturity. I loved that he called me a troll - it is clear he is new to the blog. For guys like Seth, anyone who doesn't agree with him or parrot exactly what the Republican Party says is a troll. On top of everything else, for some unknown reason to me he pulls out his personal level of success - as if I care.
As a long-time reader of this blog, I also enjoy the general tone and level of discourse by most posters. It is too bad that there are exceptions on both sides to the cordial discussion that usually exists on this blog.
I certainly don't hate Republicans - I wish you all well and good luck in life. I just disagree with much of what this President and this Congress have done.
Seth loses his argument automaticly when he engages in adhominem.
But I, for one, don't mind being called a troll, as long as it's affectionette. (Author: I may be a troll, but I'm your troll.)
Mudkitty --
re your response to A's last comment:
LOL!
Mudkitty --
I am serious, I really have little time for lengthy debate. I am not blessed with the hours and hours of free time you and Rob seem to have to hover here. I like this blog a lot and would spend a lot more time here, as well as at other blogs I enjoy, but despite what your fellow traveller seems to believe, I am not rich -- I get top paying projects, but one such project can entail 2-3 months of working as much as 12 - 16 hours most days.
I am also engaged in ongoing email debates with three seriously well informed Democrats who, while totally opposed to our being in Iraq and highly critical of the Bush Administration, don't make seriously uninformed statements like "we've lost the war".
We've only lost it in the closed minds of those liberals who ignore all but the negative stuff they read re Iraq.
Kerry has already explained what liberals really think of our troops in Iraq, so it is no wonder that you discount what they tell us from actually being over there.
Seth, you are mischaracterizing what Kerry said, and what he meant to say.
What about when Bush said that because of the laws today, "gynocologists won't be able to practice their love on women across the country?"
If you want to go head to head with word gaffes, I have only to direct you to a website called Bushisms.
Seth, I don't understand why you feel you must qualify the amount of time you can put in. Who cares? If you want to respond then do so, if you don't I don't think people really care.
16 hours a day for 3 months? That is your idea of successful?
Good luck doing whatever it is that you do. I hope you really enjoy your life - I am not saying that to be sarcastic, I really do how you enjoy your life.
Success is measured by different people in different ways -- being a person who loves to work and whose work protects other people, is enjoyable to me in an extreme -- many people don't really like what they do for a living, but do it anyway because they worry about changing careers once they reach a certain age.
Earlier this year, when I bought my house, I took nearly 4 months off to renovate it, etc. Then I had lots of time to relax, and even with work to do on the house, it drove me bananas.
Being a multimillionaire who has "earned" a life of too much leisure would drive me insane, no thanks.
Ken, you have a troll. LOL!
I checked out the poll you were kind enough to tell me about. Thanks! It's very encouraging, although I don't put much stock in polls even when they favor my side of things. But like I said, it is encouraging. :)
Of course Ken has trolls. This is a site that actually sees some action, and is taking it's place in Blogdom. What do you expect? A ladies social? I hope that people from all across the political spectrum come here, and that Ken's site gets lots more hits.
