OSAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD
Following US intelligence leads a team of US Navy Seals attacked the compound in Pakistan where Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden was hiding and shot the terrorist leader in the head taking possession of his body and confirmed that he was in fact dead.
I have followed the example at the Drudge Report and intentionally placed the picture of this evil that has been eliminated upside down. He is dead due to the excellent work of the greatest intelligence force in the world and the best and bravest troops who undertook the operation that avenged the attacks of 9/11 by killing the person who headed Al Qaeda.
This does not end our war on terrorism but is a great day for our Nation and the world as this evil have finally been killed. God bless our troops and intelligence forces for their action and the tremendous job they always do in defending our Nation.
While we celebrate the death of Bin Laden we must also be ever vigilant as Al Qaeda is not just one man and is still seeking to kill Americans. We also remember those who perished on 9/11 and those they left behind. It was for them that this evil has been killed. So as we celebrate Bin Ladens death let us never forget what he did and why we fight and killed this evil.

The news that Osama bin Laden is dead will bring great relief to people across the world. Osama bin Laden was responsible for the worst terrorist atrocities the world has seen – for 9/11 and for so many attacks, which have cost thousands of lives, many of them British. It is a great success that he has been found and will no longer be able to pursue his campaign of global terror

Fully agreed. Why they didn't grab him alive, heaven knows, but we do not know the full details of the operation, like whether the Seals got in completely cleanly or not. I've read that there was a fire fight involved in this so I'm willing to grant they might not have been able to grab him alive.
Having said that: Thank God for our wonderful service men! Kudos must be given to Patreaus who stuck his head on the block in while going after things in Pakistan with drones, etc., something the administration was loathe to do as the Pakistanis didn't like it.
All in all a good day! However, normally when one cuts the head off a snake, the body dies. In this case, citing the centuries of radical hatred, etc. that comes from these people, one must still assume the body is whole. The deep rooted hate for anything other than their own views I'm afraid will keep these folks going on their merry way. As such, we must not ease up on the pressure! We go after these radicals until they fold up their tents!

But one news story says that they had orders to kill, not capture and certainly two bullets to the head bear that out.

I would tend to agree if they had orders like that. I for one would think Obama would never want to have a "high profile" radical like that guy in custody as he couldn't do his play nice routine with his Muslim base for long.

In that tabloid report years ago with his body on the cover they said he had bad kidneys and was crippled in one leg. I had the tabloid at the time, and if I remember right they said he was killed at Tora Bora. He was supposedly really really tall also.

I agree. Except it is my position that Osama has been dead for years. This smells REAL bad. The timing is too convenient. I'm expecting economic meltdown when earnings come out in a couple months and everyone in the market sees the damage done to the global economy by Japan being taken out of the equation.
