OBAMA GIVEN NOBEL PEACE PRIZE - A COMPLETE FARCE
Friday is usually reserved exclusively for RaDena and her excellent post on Mom's Against Obamacare is below. But the total farce that has taken place in awarding Barack Obama the Nobel Peace Prize is such an act of political correctness and so undeserving that I had to make a short mention of this ridiculous award.
The Nobel Peace Prize is supposed to be awarded to individuals who have made accomplishments in the field of peace for this world. Obama has accomplished NOTHING. In fact since becoming President the world is a much more threatening place than it was before. Afghanistan is at a stand still and more soldiers are dying because of his total indecision. Iran is closer to becoming nuclear and he has done NOTHING. Petty despots like Kim Jong Il see Obama's weakness as a sign that they can do whatever they please without consequence.
Obama is a joke and this country and the world knows it. Giving Jimmy Carter the prize as a dig to President George Bush began the age of political correctness in awarding the prize. Now giving it to Obama takes political correctness and moves it into the realm of absurd!

UPDATE: I believe I figured our how Obama got the Peace Prize. His loosing bid for the 2016 Olympics personally saved the lives of the Olympians from being killed by Chicago gangs. Hence for saving athletes lives he is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. A joke awarded to THE biggest joke!

Ken, the key word is "accomplishments," of which our President has damn few of as you have pointed out. All he has done has made a world apology & promise tour.

When I first saw this I thought it had to be a bad joke but apparently it is all too real. I don't give the Nobel Peace Prize and validity any more between Obama and Gore! It's a shame that it has become a political joke.

Does the Nobel Peace Prize actually mean anything anymore? It appears to me that not only is Obama a joke but so is the Nobel Peace Prize! Perhaps they belong together.
Oh good grief! I just read the Update at the bottom of your post. You said the same exact thing! LOL! We truly do think alike.

I thought Obama getting the award was kinda like the most popular boy in school asking the geeking girl to the prom.
it was all a big joke and those issuing the award are laughing their butts off at the ruckus they stirred up
Your joke about the save Olympian lives brings up the fact that in Obama's Chicago all that hot air rhetoric about hope and change has meant more murder and mayhem.
You would think the Nobel Committee would be mature enough to understand the difference between rhetoric and reality. I guess not.
