YoU cAn'T mAkE tHiS sTuFf Up - FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Police in Framingham, Mass., say an illegal immigrant from Guatemala entered a police station, told officers he had stolen another man's identity and asked to be deported because he could no longer make ends meet in America.

Police tell the MetroWest Daily News they arrested 29-year-old Carlos Boc after he confessed Saturday night. Lt. Paul Shastany says Boc told police he wanted to return to Guatemala but can't afford a ticket. He told police he has no job or money and is worried about surviving the winter. He told police he came to the U.S. 13 years ago. No word on whether he was deported.

YoU cAn'T mAkE tHiS sTuFf Up - WORCESTER, Massachusetts — A Massachusetts man who stole a hot dog from another man sitting under a tree in a park has been sentenced to 18 months in prison. Antonio Judd pleaded guilty Monday in Worcester Central District Court to charges including larceny from a person, the Telegram & Gazette newspaper reported.


Police say Judd grabbed the hot dog in August after flashing what appeared to be a gun in Elm Park in Worcester. Police reports say Judd began to devour the hot dog, spilling mustard all over his shirt. They say when he was arrested later he was carrying a pellet gun and a pocket knife.

The two had argued over jewelry he had given her but then took back, Pasadena Police Department spokesman Vance Mitchell said. When the man refused to return the jewelry, she took seven goldfish from his west Pasadena home in the 1100 block of

Queens Road to her apartment, Mitchell said. The man called police. Officers went to the woman's home to see if they could retrieve the fish. “She said, ‘They're in there,' and pointed to the kitchen,” Mitchell said. Finding a plate with four fried fish, officers asked where the others were. The woman answered, “I already ate those,” Mitchell said. Because the fish were bought when the couple lived together, they were considered community property, he said. “There was nothing we could do,” Mitchell said. “If he wants to pursue it, it's a civil case.”
