OBAMA'S SNITCH SITE ILLEGAL AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL

Linda Douglass Goebbels, (Goebbels is my addition), the propaganda minister that the White House calls the public relations director introduced and e-mail site, flag@whitehouse.gov, which is designed to supposedly flag,"misinformation," about Obama's health care bill. The site solicits Americans to snitch on other American who disagree with administration policy on health care.

The major problem with this illegal site is that it is a direct violation of the Constitution. Violating both our free speech right to dissent with government policy WITHOUT fear of reprisal or being reported for our dissent and our right to privacy. Douglass tries to argue that because of the vast amount of information available through various forms of communication the snitch site makes it possible for people who find something about health care that they are, "worried," about to just send it to the White House.

Criticism of the site claims that it will comprise an enemies list which allows the Executive Branch to keep an eye on those who oppose health care policy. Douglass in the above video denies that anything will be kept. A blatant lie that in itself is against the law. Federal law states that ALL communication with the White House cannot be deleted and must be kept for legal and historical reasons which translates into compiling all reports of, "misinformation."

The next violation of the law that this site preforms is the illegal act of recording citizens practicing the right of free speech. The Privacy Act of 1974 provides that any communication of free speech by citizens CANNOT be compiled in any form by the White House or any other government entity.

Where is the ACLU over this violation of the civil liberties of American who dissent with government policy? Of course we all know that the ACLU only stands against perceived violations of civil liberties that are done by conservatives. Liberals can violate the law and civil liberties whenever they want and NOTHING is said.

Adding to this is the fact that this particular violation of the Constitution is an illegal act being preformed by the office of The President of the United States. With the full authority and backing of the President himself. Richard Nixon was run out of town on a rail for similar actions and Obama is allowed to act without opposition by some of the same liberals who condemned and sought to destroy Nixon. This is not to defend Nixon but to emphasis the illegality of what Obama is doing through this snitch site.

How long will Barack Obama and his administration be allowed to continually violate the Constitution and preform illegal activity before action is taken against this activity? The law is the law and not one citizen in the Nation INCLUDING the President is above the law no matter what the reasoning. Just ask Richard Nixon's family.
