It was well known in 2004 that Al Qaeda was hoping for a John Kerry victory. When President Bush won promising four more years of defeating Al Qaeda and terrorism, it was not a good day in the caves.

Exit polls had Kerry winning by a land slide in 2004. But a funny thing happened. The votes were actually counted rather than the media making up the story and President Bush was elected to four more years.
YoU cAn'T mAkE tHiS sTuFf Up - Bush Gaffs - "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." —Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002 - Well he almost got the saying right - YoU cAn'T mAkE tHiS sTuFf Up
President Bush has always had the ability to laugh at himself. So in honor of the week long thank you by bloggers to President Bush, this weekly Thursday tradition at The Liberal Lie, gives us all an opportunity to laugh with him. He did provide some very funny gaffs, three of which are posted here.
Political cartoons have been used throughout our history to express point of view by the media and the Bush years were no exception. I hope you enjoy this special Bush addition of THE LIBERAL LIE CARTOON GALLERY AND YoU cAn'T mAkE tHiS sTuFf Up .

LOL! I thought his gaffes were lovable, Ken, but of course the media wasn't exactly nice about it, as is pointed out by the first cartoon. I think he was probably pretty good at dodging things before he went to Washington though. When you run a ranch (or a farm) in Texas, you need to be able to dodge the buzzard poop! LOL! At least I do. We have a road that runs along our property nicknamed "Buzzard Road", and whoever named it wasn't kidding.
Bush is a great man and was a great president. It is really hard to switch on the t.v. and see the Obama fest going on today.. I mean how absurd and prideful acting like he is akin to Lincoln. Putting on a show like he is to bring glory to himself. Bush would have never done that.
Honestly, he is the first bi-racial president and his WIFE is the first 'African American first lady'-that is history.
Nevertheless, even so what matters in this country is substance over style and what stinks for the African American community is that the first person to represent them in such a high place is a guy with dangerous ideas and could very well bring our country down.
