Although I was never a big George Carlin fan nor abided by his ecxessive use of foul language in his stand up, this little ditty that I found thanks to Otto over at American Interests hits the environmental nail right on the head.
I'm going to take a slight break today and let George Carlin tell the truth about our planet and the real agenda of environmentalists. Enjoy.

I think the point is that we shouldn't be trying to save the planet, we should be trying to save ourselves. If you listen, he says that we are killiing ourselves but the planet will be here for a long time after we can no longer breathe our own air...such as Shanghai and Mexico City

George Carlin will be missed.
george carlin was not attacking the concept of environmentalists, nor is deny the problems industry has created through pollution and waste. here carlin is simply poking fun at the language used by environmentalists. he doesn't deny that industry isn't using the planet as a garbage can, but he is noting once we kill ourselves and the rest of biosphere, this rock we call earth will still be spinning.
