BARACK OBAMA VS. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE

The vacation is over and the showdown has begun. Barack Obama, President of the United States has laid down the gauntlet and the adversary is the American people. Obama spent his Labor Day holiday at a AFL - CIO gathering in Cincinnati, Ohio and called those who oppose his attempt to take over the health care system, liars while invoking the name of Ted Kennedy as he tried to solicit the help of organized labor in the fight for his health care take over.

Poll after poll overwhelmingly shows that the majority of the American people oppose Obama's health care plan yet during the speech he claimed that those who have been vocal against it have offered NOTHING as an option and only choose to do nothing. A statement that is an out right lie by the POTUS. There are currently FOUR opposing plans that offer reform WITHOUT a government option or a total destruction of the health care system. But because they do not offer a government option or the ability to force government control of health care Obama and the Democrats has chosen to ignore these options and lie and demonize those who oppose their take over.

So the gauntlet has been thrown and an American President is choosing to fight the will of the American people in order to pass an agenda that most do not want and the majority have risen by the MILLIONS to oppose. This arrogance in believing that the people of this Nation fear the ,"great," Obama and just because he stands and makes loud and boisterous speeches the people should bend over and take it in the rear to bow to his wishes is the biggest mistake among many that this President has made since he took office.

Choosing to fight against the will of the American people is not only a guaranteed end to his political future but is in direct contrast to our Constitution and the very principles that make this country the free Republic that it is. He forgets that HE works for us and as such it is his responsibility to bow to the will of the people and not the people bend to his quest for power.

If he thinks that soliciting organized labor in his war against the American people and making yet another speech before a joint session of Congress is going to force Americans to cave to his agenda and quake in fear of a President who is the most incompetent and completely inadequate to the task of the Presidency in our history, then Barack Obama has a great surprise before him.

We will not bend, we will not cave, we will not be silenced and we will not allow Obama and his clan to take our Nation down a path of socialism using health care as the catalyst to this destructive path. He can whine all he wants. He can create falsehoods about who we are and what we are saying. He can live in the delusional state of confidence that he will be the victor. But the bottom line is that the will of the people IS the true power and authority of this Nation and the will of the people when the dust clears and the battle is over will be the victor in the declared war of Barack Obama vs. the American people.
