Trillions in deficits. Socializing America. Nationalizing GM, Chrysler and any other company he can get hold of. Printing money faster then the ink can dry. Taking the country down the road to bankruptcy spending more then every President before him combined.
Appeasing out enemies, buddy, buddy with despots and petty dictators while apoligizing for America and calling us arrogant. Revealing secrets that threaten our security and making a mockery of intelligence gathering which gives our enemies an advantage.
So who can blame the Statue of Liberty after only 100 days for crying out, "Rescue Me," from Barack Obama.

I'll tell you what I don't hear. I've asked this question on so many blog sites I can't even begin to count them. Also, I've posted enough on my blog that the question should be plain as the nose on my face, "Given the damage that Obama has committed in the first 100 days. And given the current makeup of the Congress for the next 2 years, how are we supposed to survive the next 2 years? The damage to our nation and its heritage will be permanant by then."
Other than cry into our collective beers, what do we do? How do we protect that which we hold dear? No one is addressing this. The tea parties made as much splash as throwing an anvil in the ocean.
I feel Greywolf's frustration, and if I didn't have my faith I probably would go nuts, Ken. I'm hoping that on Independence Day the numbers of people attending the Tea Parties will grow stronger. I also believe as people start feeling the pain in their wallets they'll begin to get angry... even those who voted for Obama. One thing people don't like having messed with is they're money! It's too bad that so many Americans are so selfish it takes a personal attack on their welfare to wake them up, but that's the way it is. I do think the numbers of those protesting will only grow in number and I hope and pray I'm right!
Gayle and Greywolfe - I have mentioned this before that the key to stopping this socialist slide that Obama is engineering is through the House.
Not just pressuring our own Representative but ALL of them. You wil get return e-mails etc. that say that you need to address your grievence to your District Rep.
But don't let that stop you. Put the e-mail address of every member of the house in your contacts file and daily send a blanket gripe to all of them.
Individually they can ignore us but if we have large enough numbers who constantly pressure them the House will listen because they know in just a couple of months they have to face us an justify what they are doing or their butss will be out in 2010. Frankly as far as I am concerned they all need to take a hike but they don't know that yet.
Every funding bill of any type must originate in the House. All we have to do is scare enough by our collective numbers so that they undestand the extent of the anger and niether Obama nor Pelosi will get the votes they need to pass this agenda. Their hands will be tied and then in 2010 we have a massive voter revolt and get fresh Constitutionally based blood in the House and Obama will continue to be tied until he retires at the edn of his first term!
You're assuming that the cult of Obama hasn't infected the Dems in the House. The President has already shown that his agenda is far more important to him than any idea of re-election.
If he has converted enough with this idea, then any emails we send will be treated with the same condescention as the Tea-bag sending, or the red envelope sendings.
Both of which were estimated in the hundreds of thousands if not millions by the D.C. Postal service. No answers from the politicians, they merely ignored them.
At this point I very seriously doubt if they can see anything other than the light emenating from his Holiness, Barry Obama.
I keep coming back to the French Revolution, when the ruling class completely downplayed and ignored the populace as they demonstrated in the streets.
