MICHAEL STEELE NEW RNC CHAIRMAN
Former Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele has been elected Chairman of the RNC. An excellent choice who will be a strong leader for the GOP.
Steele is a staunch conservative who believes that the GOP must return to true conservatism and put forth a strong conservative slate of candidates to replace RINOS and Democrats in 2010.
I have had the opportunity to meet and interview Michael and found him to be a good man who understands conservatism and how conservative values and ideas have the right answers to solve todays issues.
He has a great sense of humor and a personality that makes him very likable. But he also has the strength of character to make the tough decisions necessary to get the GOP on track and strong as a party and conservative ideology once again.
Don't look for the media to drool over him as they have Obama. Though a black man Steele is not their type of black. The left and media response will be similar to that given to Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas. The right man for the job at a time when conservative strength and character are needed to invigorate the GOP.

Steele is a great choice, Ken. Unfortunately the MSM will definitely not be drooling over him. No chills will be running up Chris Matthews' leg because of him, and many blacks will call him an Uncle Tom. The hypocrisy will fly fast and furious, but we know that and I'm sure Steele does too. He also realizes if there is a record somewhere of him even spitting on the sidewalk, the left will find it. Liberals don't vet liberals, only conservatives. :(
What, now we go and find our own "magic Negro"?
This is a very, very sad day for America. The election of Steele proves that the Republican party will not go in the direction they need to for the sake of our country. They can expect to be in the minority for quite some time to come.
Are you a true conservative or just a kool aid drinker? If you are a true conservative then you would listen to what this other true conservative has to say about him.

Steve Deace is so right about him.
He's a RINO. On that we can be clear. This proves that the Republican Party's move to the Left might be a permanent legacy of the Bush years.
