BARACK OBAMA - REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH, THE CONSTITUTION AND THE COURTS
There has been an continuing discussion since the Joe the Plumber revelation concerning Barack Obama and his Socialist idea of ,"spreading the wealth," or wealth redistribution. A very disturbing radio interview from 2001 has surfaced where Obama not only discusses wealth redistribution but exactly what course is needed in order to insure that it happens.
Discussen the Warren Court of the early sixties and the Civil Rights movement Obama in explaining why the movement did not through the courts address redistribution of wealth actually stated that the court in it rulings about Civil Rights and wealth redistribution, "didnt break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constituion." In other words radical interpretation of the Constitution.
Obama futher states concerning the Constitution, "the Constitution is a document of negative liberties [that] says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you but it doesn't say what the federal government or state government MUST DO ON YOUR BEHALF."
The interview then goes on to tell that since the courts did not overstep their Constitutional boundries that redistribution must be done legislativly and with community organization, "on the ground that are able to bring about the coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change." He continued,"so I think that although you can craft theoretical justifications for it legally...... I think that as a practical matter that our institutions are just poorly equipped to do it."
Plain and simple Obama is a stating that although the courts Constitutionally may not have the ability to prvide wealth redistribution through legislative and community initiatives wealth can be redistributed.
Karl Marx stated as the foundational principle of the Socialist movement in the mid 1800's, "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need." Redistribution of wealth is the central theme and principle of Socialism and this is the type of America that Barack Obama blatantly beleives that brings economic success.
Yet history shows that every country that has adopoted Socialism has failed or offers economic policy that rather than increasing the means for those who are considered having less, Socialism creates massive unemployment, actually makes the poor, poorer and eliminates the insentive for those with the ability to create not only jobs but economic expansion which creates a stronger economy.
A recent PEW survey shows that 84% of Americans favor policy that encourages economic growth rather than redistribution of wealth through legislation and taxation for the upper 5% of income earners.
Additionally in order to pay for the massive trillion dollar spending that Obama is proposing that upper 5% whose taxation ability is NOT infinite will not be able to foot the bill for his spending. So this Socialist who condemns, "trickle down economics," will create trickle down taxation as spending increases the bill will have to be paid for by taxing all income levels.
This is not the America we need nor the America that promotes success. This is not the America that will allow recovery from this economic down turn. In fact most experts agree that Obama's tax plan will slow the recovery which most beleive will only extend into the Fall of 2009 with current economic policy. Obama's economic plan of tax and spend will cause recovery to take years rather than months if recovery happens at all under an Obama administration.
We cannot afford a Barack Obama Socialism. We can not afford a Barack Obama depression. We canot afford a Barack Obama ,"change," in American society that truly offers no,"hope," for anyone.

whether redistribution of wealth materialized or not. CHANGES COMES FROM THE PEOPLE NOT FROM WHOEVER IN THE POLITICS.
Rose, while change takes place from the poeple in accordance to who we electe, once in office using legislative abilities and also legislating from the courts by judges who use the court to make laws rather than intepret the Constituion, politics DOES change things.
We can flood Congress with calls and e-mails, but unless they are willing to listen they do whatever they want. The problem with Democrats and Obama is no different is that they do not listen because they beleive that they know what is best for the people and whether the people agree or not makes no difference.
What Obama describes in this radio interview is a stsyematic way of changing our society from capitalist to socialist through redistribution of income. That is his economic policy and with a Democrat Congress behind him that is what he will do if elected. Totally reshape our society changeging the fundamental principles that have, not by accudent, made us a great nation.
Do you actually believe what your right, or are you in the top %5?
Even if Obama is a socialist, which by all accounts, except the radical right's, he is not, he is still the better choice.
If there was no war in Iraq, the economy would probably not be in the disaster it is not. Problems would exist, but it would not be a disaster.
McCain/Failin would rather spend money we don't have on a war that only makes big business rich. While saying they won't raise taxes even though most independent analyst say they need new taxes to pay for it. Just like their taxing of health benefits. Will cost the average middle class with health insurance about $1000 in new taxes, while reducing (not increasing) the total number of people covered.
Without the war, neither party would have to raise taxes. In any case, the USA is the best country in the world. If I have to pay a little more in taxes for the privilege of living here it is fine with me.
Oh good grief, Ken! There is no help for anyone who doesn't see that Obama is clearly a socialist! WOW!
Perhaps they don't understand what socialism is. That's probably the truth, considering what they've been teaching in schools and colleges over the last several decades. Anyone who wants to take away your money to "spread the wealth around" is clearly a socialist, and the liberals can deny it until they're the same color as the kool aide they're drinking, but it won't change the fact that socialism by any other name is still socialism.
Great post... too bad it's over the heads of the brainwashed masses.
this is interesting and i agrre with bog authors and Rose's comment.
Barack Obama is clearly a socialist and plans to forward a socialist agenda in his administration. His wealth distribution slip-of-the-tongue only serves to show where he is really coming from. I just wrote about this on my blog this morning.

The Government of The Peoples Republic of China has unanimously
endorsed McCain/Palin for President of the United States.
"They are our kind of leaders!" says a Government spokesperson.
"They understand that business and the government should be in control,
not the silly workers, or 'people' as they sometimes call themselves.
Also, we understand the Republic concept. It is Democracy we find
distasteful."
A leading General, who wished to remain anonymous, had this to say
about President McCain: "We planted many post-hypnotic suggestions
in our former P.O.W.'s mind and we are beside ourselves with
anticipation at having the opportunity to trigger them and have control
of the white house without even having to wage a war..."
"And if that fails," a second anonymous official pipes in "it's not like
George W. Bush did not already sell it to us anyway."
P.S. We sure hope that Sarah Palin and her corrupt comrade Ted Stevens dream of
a free Alaska comes true someday so we can do serious business.
I think the reason people aren't concerned about Obama being a Marxist is because they really don't understand exactly how dangerous Marxism is to America.
For all readers, I don't usually visit other people's blogs to promote my own, but I have written a post that I feel is vitally important to help educate those who have yet to understand the dangerous implications of an Obama administration. If you don't know why you should be concerned about Obama's Marxist ideology please visit and be educated.
Anonymouse: Anyone who uses the word "McRage: shouldn't be calling other people stupid.
And this loon above who said: "If there was no war in Iraq, the economy would probably not be in the disaster it is not. Problems would exist, but it would not be a disaster" Needs to buy a newspaper. The financial crisis has EVERYTHING to do with the meltdown Democrats forced on the mortgage industry and nothing to do with Iraq.
Unless of course you think a sub prime loan is the same as an IED.
We will end up spending FAR MORE on the financial crisis than we have spent in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
P.S. Ken: Where do you get these clowns?
I'm voting for Obama, but sick of listening to many uneducated Liberal's, Conservatives, and Independents bitch and fight like 4th graders.
1. Be Polite: Everyone has the right to vote for who they choose. I had a redneck college kid conservative call me a traitor the other day while I was speaking to his international policy class on my experience in the Middle East. I served 27 good hard years in the U.S. Army. Spending 5 years in Infantry, 3 years as a Ranger, and 19 years Special Forces. I fought in multiple wars, and expeditionary combat evolutions all over the world. I retired honorably as a Colonel March 11th 2007, currently on a national college lecturing tour with five other veteran's all with different backgrounds. I consider myself far from a traitor.
2. If you are going to strike a political debate both for Liberal's and Republican's know what the hell you are talking about. Both candidates are respectable people in real life, honor your choice candidate by learning about his policies, causes, family, and work history, etc... your talking points are futile if you are not knowledgeable.
3. Do not fight: Knocking out some person you met at the pub for voting for someone you do not support does not make you a patriot. It makes you a dumb ass that does not have the brain capacity to have a real intellectual conversation or debate.
4. Know when to talk politics: It is not appropriate to preach your views everywhere you go i.e work place, family functions, church, etc... there is a time and a place. Know when it's your time and I promise you many people will be more inclined to listen to you ramble.
5. Get Educated: Learn about our economy, laws, political processes, military, and especially learn history. Read about past parties, and presidents this will give you a better chance to get a non-biased look at the principles of political parties. I asked one kid when I was speaking at UW last month to tell me what his opinion of who was our best president in history "Abraham Lincoln" he said I asked what was Lincoln's party "Democratic" he said; Wrong Republican, this was a 2nd year law school student. It scares me to this day.
6. Respect: After 27 years of military service and preaching respect is earned not a God given Right, I retract my opinion on this teaching. When you meet someone new give them respect no matter what, even if they are disrespecting you continue to give them respect. It will get you a lot farther if you want them to hear you out when you are debating with them.
7. Debate do not Argue: Arguing is for people who refuse to admit when they are wrong. When out witted know this and move on to the next topic maybe you'll win the next. Keep your side clean and you'll win debates more often then you will if you are going to be stubborn and get stuck on one topic for hours. It also makes you look uneducated and stupid when you refuse to back down when the point is clear.("Common sense is not to common")
8. Listen: learn when to take the cotton out of your ears and stick it in your mouth. I learned this the hard way in 2006 when I went forthright with my plan of action fighting in the mountains of Afghanistan. Instead of listening to my Intel advisor back at the FOB I made a decision that cost me my right leg. Granted I was exactly right about the course of action that was taken and the battle was won. It was a unneeded action and did not make the slightest difference in the operation at hand. Even when you are right you can be dead wrong.
9. Vote Wisely: Don't be swayed by your friends and family, this uses all the rules given. Blind voting is not a smart practice. I know with all the encouragement to vote does not mean just go and fill my card out with no regard to who is what. I say this to people even voting for my party. Read about McCain/Palin, same for Obama/Biden, go on their sites, and read. Please don't be the popular voter, be a decisive educated voter.
10. Do not be biased: Allow yourself to grow, biased people do not learn they are stunted by their own ideals. Learn that what might pertain to one person, topic, etc... will not pertain at all times or instances.
