They Booed Him At Fenway

At this writing the Democrats are basking in the glory of the 2004 Democratic Convention and John Kerry has just finished his coronation speech. I have waited to write this article until all of the hoop-la was over for two reasons. One, it is easier to write the truth when all of the lies from Kerry's attempt at re-inventing himself are over and second, I wanted to see if anything about the convention left a greater impression on me than an event that happened just before the opening gavel. Well, (ho-hum, yawn), nothing impressed me at all this week so here is the event I refered to. On Sunday the 25th the day before Boston was invaded, John Kerry went to Fenway Park in Boston to throw out the first pitch in the Red Sox, Yankees game. The pitch was lame but the crowd's reaction was amazing! They booed John Kerry. Now this in itself may not sound significant until you view the event in its proper perspective. Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusets where the likes of Ted Williams and Carl Yastremski played, the Valhalla of liberalism, city of safe haven for all left wing wackos. The home of Ted Kennedy and the capital of the state that for the last nineteen years has elected John Kerry to the Senate, booed him while he was on the field! This event didn't get much attention from the liberal media since they deemed it their responsibility this week to campaign for Kerry by calling it journalism. So as the gavel sounds closing the liberal love fest, I'm going to tell you who the real John Kerry is with the help of the fans at Fenway Park!

John Kerry is a Vietnam veteran, (for which he has my thanks for his service), who served in 'Nam for four months and was sent home after recieving his third Purple Heart. The story he tells about these medals and that of those who served with him and even the doctors who treated him are completely different. According to his doctor and Commanding Officer the wounds were band-aid wounds and were inflicted in non-combat situations. Each of his CO's are on the record saying he is not fit to be Commander in Chief...and they booed him at Fenway!

Upon returnig from Vietnam Kerry became an active voice in protest to the war and accused those he served with of attrocities and admited to performing many himself. Most if not all of his claims have been proven false since then...and they booed him at Fenway!

In nineteen years as a United States Senator John Kerry has not sponsored a single piece of legislation and has been absent for the majority of the votes on the Senate floor. He virtually has a non-existant record as a Senator...and they booed him at Fenway!

This candidate who claims to be stong on defense has voted against 27 major weapons systems that the Military currently uses, for example; the cruise missle, the Patriot missle, the F-16, the stealth fighter and bomber, the Bradley fighting vehicle just to name a few...and they booed him at Fenway!

John Kerry, who has tried to portray himself as a conservative and moderate this week in oreder to try and garner votes has the most liberal voting record of anyone in the Senate, including Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. His running mate John Edwards is a close fourth...and they booed him at Fenway!

When asked, before the convention, (I'm sure after also), how he would have handled the war on terror, his response has always been, "I would seek out the United Nations and our allies, (mainly the backstabbers France and Germany), request their help and AUTHORIZATION for military action. Since when does the United States need anyones permission to defend herself...and they booed him at Fenway!

When congress voted to authorize the President to use force in the war on terror, Kerry voted for the authorization. When the President requested 87 billion in funding for the military for a pay raise and supplies Kerry voted against it. When confronted with this flip-flop Kerry answered, "I actually voted for the 87 billion before I voted against it"...and they booed him at Fenway!

So in the up-coming months as the onslaught against the President intensifies, remember that if they booed him in Boston, his home turf and the bastion of liberalism, then the country may not be as polarized and against the President as the media and the Democrats would have us to believe. The Conservative movement is a very viable force in this land. If things were as bad as they have been portrayed, then why are they attempting to hide the truth and silence the voice of those who would deliver the message? Why are they spending millions to deliberatly decieve the voting public? The reason; they fear that the public is better informed and know the truth as they see through the vale of deception orchestrated by the left. How do I know this to be true? Because...THEY BOOED HIM AT FENWAY!!!
