OBAMA CAMPAIGN MONEY WOES

The campaign for the reelection of Barack Obama officially went into debt during the month of June as it spent more money than it took in. Obama has spent more than $53million dollars in negative ads trying to destroy the reputation of Mitt Romney in swing states like Ohio and North Carolina and has NOTHING to show for it.

His strategy to destroy Romney's reputation with negative ads that contain false information about Romney's dealings with Bain Capital and his overseas holdings have not succeeded and in fact Obama's approval numbers have gone down as this massive ad campaign has been slamming the airwaves with negative after negative and falsehood after falsehood.

National polls have moved toward Romney while the swing states that Obama has been targeting have made dramatic moves away from Obama and toward Romney. North Carolina has had a major shift from Obama leading by 10 points to Romney now leading by 9. Pennsylvania that had a 6 point lead for Obama now shows Romney up by 5.  Ohio had Obama with a 6 point lead now shows a dead heat between the two candidates.

While Obama has been going in the hole financially the Romney campaign is continuing to spend less and out raise the Obama campaign. Obama's spending has more than doubled Romney's while Romney is raising almost doubling Obama's campaign donations. Both of which are not good news for Obama and are a clear indication of a struggling campaign that has no momentum and losing support.

The lack of donations, falling poll numbers, major shifts in swing states and the bad economy along with continued high unemployment all lead to a conclusion that November is a major uphill struggle for Obama to win reelection. While nothing can be taken for granted the signs do point toward an Obama loss on November 6, 2012.
