COLORADO SHOOTING TRAGEDY

Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and the families of the tragic senseless shooting at the Aurora, Colorado movie theater during the midnight showing of, "The Dark Night Rises, " the latest Batman motion picture.  12 are dead and 59 wounded from a crazed sick individual who perpetrated this terrible tragedy.

This hits home to me in more ways than I can describe as I am part of the Management team at a local theater and heard of the shooting on my way home after our midnight showing of the movie. I literally stopped in the middle of the road in shock as I listened on the radio of the tragedy in Colorado.

Already the media and others are trying to politicize this nightmare with some claiming then retracting that the shooter was a member of the Tea Party and others already calling for gun control laws as is always the case after a tragic shooting. This is not a situation for anyone from either the right or the left to gain any political brownie points over the senseless deaths of innocent Americans who were doing nothing more than enjoying an evenings entertainment with family and friends.

There is no political motive or any other agenda but a crazed murderous lunatic who has taken the lives of innocents and wounded dozens more in an act of rampaging stupidity and a lack of moral conscience.  It is not a time to seek blame to any ideology or political agenda but to remember the victims their friends and families who must cope with the senseless killing of those they loved.

God bless the victims, God bless the survivors and may He comfort and keep them in this time of grief and coping with the unthinkable.

  1. Noe Obama is "suspending his campaign" to visit and console the families of the victims. Something a President should do.

So I must ask this. Where in the hell was this quick reaction to visit a site of a massacre when the Ft. Hood shootings occurred! Why wasn't it as important enough then for the Commander in Chief to immediately drop everything he was doing and go to Ft. Hood. If memory serves me correctly, it took this son of a bitch ages to finally address his troops and it sure as hell wasn't because he wanted to.

He is going to Colorado for one reason only. to ride this tragedy as part of his campaign. The hell with our troops! Wasn't convenient then. Losing his dictatorship due to his amazingly piss poor agenda and job performance. Then he has to play the "grieving" leader? I want to puke at the thought!

  2. NYC Mayor Bloomberg is spouting his nonsense again, and in a city that has strict gun controls & high crime. Idiot...

Regardless, things like this don't happen because of guns - they happen because a person makes a decision to kill.
