TOOMEY PULLS AHEAD IN PA AND KIRK IN ILLINOIS

In two key Senate races which would be gains for Republicans, Pat Toomey has surged ahead with 94% of the vote counted Toomey has 51% of the vote for Benedict Arlen Specters Senate seat. In another possible gain for the GOP Mark Kirk has surged ahead for Barack Obama's old Senate seat. With 44,000 vote lead with 87% of the vote counted. Both seat would be a gain for Republicans in the Senate.
