THE SANITY OF REAGAN AND TRUTH VRS THE CHAOS OF OBAMA AND SOCIALISM THROUGH HEALTH CARE
I know that many of you have heard this masterful speech delivered by Ronald Reagan in 1964 describing how under the guise of health care socialism can be introduced to a free society. Reagan foresaw the nightmare we have experienced with the passage of Obamacare on Sunday.
While we fight to restore the freedom that was taken with the passage and signing of this unconstitutional bill, it is good to remind ourselves of the sanity of Ronald Reagan amidst the chaotic circus of Barack Obama. It is also good to listen once again to the warning he gave us more than sixty years ago and understand why we fight and why we must win for the sake of our Nation and our children

You can't get much clearer.
Our liberal friends are so busy trying to help a few million people that they don't see how they hurt everyone in the process.
Some are doing it out of hatred of America but most fall to emotionalism and stupidity.
Sadly, too few young people today even know who Reagan is, let alone, what he stood for.
We have to keep educating them and reminding them about how great and good this country was in the past.
Today's young do not have to settle for living in a second class country.
It might have helped your audience if you put Reagan's comments in context.
As you should well know, he was speaking against Medicare. As a matter of fact, this "speech" was an LP recording from 1961, and was never delivered to a live audience.
The historical aftermath of Medicare passage can be traced regarding its impact as predicted by Reagan. I think it would be somewhat dishonest if you or anyone wishes to reference these ideas, yet not compare his predictions to reality. I'm not sure sanity is the first word that comes to mind when I reflect upon his dire warnings compared to what really did (and didn't) happen.
Oh, and by the way; although Medicare is one of the closest systems we have to "socialized medicine" (VA health care being the real deal), the new law is not even close to "socialized medicine". Saying it is so doesn't make it so.
Regards.
The new law sent shares in private health companies soaring. It will make health insurance mandatory for many more Americans.
It is not socialism, it is crony capitalism. If only you knew the difference. Truly, every word you have written on this blog is a staggering testament to your ignorance.
