In an announcement that has been expected for some time British Prime Minister Tony Blair announced today that he would be stepping down as Prime Minister on June 27th of this year.Blair who has been Prime Minister for ten years has been one of America's greatest friends and allies. Ten years is about the maximum length for a British Prime Minister so his stepping down is no great surprise nor does it signal trouble, but just a natural cycle in British politics.
His staunch support of The United States and President Bush will surely be missed as will his strong leadership of Great Britain.
Thank you Mr. Prime Minister for a job well done and for your friendship which has been greatly appreciated. You will be missed .
Ken Taylor
Tony sure will be missed.
ReplyDeleteStrange, he took a beating over his alliance with America, yet France, Germany, Canada etc.. are electing leaders that want better relations with America.
Good bye, dear friend. May your nation find its way once more.
ReplyDeleteWhile we are wondering who will become our next Reagan, they are should be seeking thier next Churchill.
Good riddance to mediocre rubbish.
ReplyDeleteHe may have been an ally, but he's still a Libtard. Time for the BNP.
ReplyDeleteThey need a new Thatcher.
ReplyDeleteA new Thatcher...to sell off the family jewels.
ReplyDeleteAll you guys got is you fantasies of Reagan and Thatcher...your fantasies of the good old days that never were.
You guys look to the pasts, because you're incapable of looking forward.
Leave your vote on the Blair"o"meter
