JOHN MURTHA - CENSURE THIS OUT OF CONTROL LIBERAL
Representative John Murtha, (D PA), who has been in the news and caused a great deal of disgust because of his lies and false charges concerning out troops the war and lately the accusation that the Pentagon was covering of the Haditha incident and stating that troops were guilty before the investigation was complete has crossed yet another line. Murtha has now stated the the United States presence in Iraq is a greater threat to world peace then the Nuclear confrontation in Iran and the possibility of a missile launch in Korea. In Murtha's feeble liberal mind the nation that he was elected to serve and in whom he pledged allegiance as a United States Marine now is the greatest threat on the planet to world peace. Murtha deserves at the least censure for this as well as his other statements but especially in accusing his own country for destabalizing the world and counter to peace of the same. He is a disgrace to the office that he serves and a disgrace to the uniform that he once wore. Murtha with his liberal disgusting rhetoric is betraying the constituents that elected him to office and has become an embarrassment to the Pennsylvania 12th district for which he represents. I have placed a phone call and e-mail both to my Representative Henry Brown and the Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert calling for the censure of John Murtha. I urge each of you to contact your Representative and the Speaker calling for the same. Murtha's mouth must be shut and censure would take him out of the spotlight because through censure he will lose many of his privileges and responsibilities as a Congressman. Call and e-mail today!

I've already done that, but I'm not holding my breath. It seems anyone can get away with just about anything these days. Murtha is a traitor, and freedom of speech has become an excuse for just about everything.
Used to be a crime to turn against this country during a time of war. Evidently that's no longer the case.
No, he can talk out against the war as much as he wants. It is the “cold blooded killer”, “the army is broken”, and saying that America is worse than NK and Iran. Those are the reasons we are pissed. I am pissed at him in my gut, but that does not warrant a censure. The other stuff does (maybe more, continue reading).
We are in the middle of fighting and he is out doing his best to f things up. Well I agree with a very fine man, let me know if you are going to call him a “racist” too.

When you disagree with a liberal you are a facist, racist or mean spirited. So to answer your question MD, Vern would condemn Lincoln for the same because he obviously disagreed with Vern and with liberals both in historical content as referenced to today's issues and with those who existed in his day. Remember liberals wanted to keep slavery and negotiate peace to end the Civil War thus keeping two countries rather than preserving the Union which Lincoln did.

His “actions” are his constant appearances and speeches that invite a viewpoint negative for the country and the military. And if you contend that speaking is different than action, I guess you were all for the “Anti-Flag burning Amendment” correct?

People encouraging soldiers to stop fighting and go hold up in churches or go to Canada, to benefit the country? Or how about the Times, actually all papers keeping their mouths shut about classified material that should not be in their hands anyway.
Stupid liberals would sue me if I got a piece of mail and read it without my name on it and released that letter to the media, none of the information that these papers is divulging to the world has their names on it. I want them and the primary leakers held accountable.
Vern in response to your, Southern Democrats response about liberals wanting slavery and it not meriting a response. The Democratic candidate in the 1864 election was General George McCllelan born in Philidelphia, PA not the south. He ran on a pro-slavery end the war platform that was planned by northern democrats since the south had no involvement in the 1864 election since they were at the time the Confederate States. Know your history before you comment my friend.
